  • Controversy over Telangana BJP leader’s tweet, infighting may increase in the party

Controversy over Telangana BJP leader’s tweet, infighting may increase in the party

Hyderabad (IANS). Telangana leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) facing infighting and former MP A.P. A tweet by Jitendra Reddy is causing embarrassment to the party.

He courted controversy by sharing a video of a man kicking a yak on his ass to force him into a pickup truck.

Jitender Reddy, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP General Secretary B.L. Tagging Santhosh and the BJP, he wrote, “Such treatment is necessary with the BJP Telangana leadership.”

As soon as his tweet went viral, the former MP deleted it. However, he later reposted it but clarified through another tweet that he meant that those questioning the leadership of Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the state BJP president, should be treated like this.

He lashed out at Chief Minister KCR’s supporters on social media for misunderstanding his tweet. However, the damage was already done by the senior leader’s clarification. This created a controversy and left the leadership embarrassed at a time when the party is facing internal strife.

Rival political parties used it to poke fun at the BJP. Some netizens also commented that the same treatment would be meted out to the BJP in the assembly elections to be held later this year.

Unhappy with Bandi Sanjay’s working style, BJP MLA Eatala Rajender reacted to Jeetendra Reddy’s tweet on Friday.

He said that one should not behave in a manner that disrespects or violates the freedom of others. Rajendra, who was recently called to Delhi by the BJP leadership after questioning Sanjay’s leadership, said, “Ask him what message he wants to convey (through this tweet), but those who are mature and experienced should be careful. “

Hours after the controversial tweet, Jitender Reddy appeared on stage with Sanjay, the captive, at a public meeting held at the Atmakur mandal headquarters in Wanaparthy district.

Bandi Sanjay alleged that KCR was conspiring to damage the image of the saffron party by spreading stories in the media. He said the BRS leaders were trying to create an impression in the minds of the people that there were differences in the BJP’s state leadership.

Responding to Jitendra Reddy’s tweet, Telangana State Congress chief A.K. Revanth Reddy said it was a great way to draw comparisons and convince people about the infighting within the BJP’s state unit.

Obviously, this tweet has dealt a major blow to the fire fighting efforts of the BJP’s central leadership. Last week, it summoned Rajendra and former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who had been openly critical of Sanjay’s leadership. Another BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao is also said to be unhappy with Sanjay. It is being told that he is planning to leave the party.

A few days ago, BJP general secretary and Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh had denied any change in the party leadership.

Sanjay had also denied reports of an imminent change in leadership and alleged that KCR was spreading rumors to harm the BJP’s prospects.

The BJP has been facing difficulties ever since its defeat in the assembly elections in the neighboring state of Karnataka. A section of party leaders openly expressed their views while finding flaws in Sanjay’s working style. He also demanded a change of leadership. The saffron party, which was on the offensive till a few weeks ago and was confident of capturing power, was troubled by infighting. Jitendra’s tweet and the response to it indicate that the infighting may intensify, adding to the party’s woes ahead of the elections.

Rightwing groups communalise TSPSC’s ‘no ornaments’ order

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal warned the Telangana State Public Service Commission against asking Hindu women to remove bangles, nose rings, and earrings during the Group IV exam scheduled on Saturday.

He further said that wherever anyone has any problem they can contact Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal.

Balaswamy said recently, in a college in Santoshnagar when the college management asked a student to remove the hijab while writing the exam, the State Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali himself got involved and took action against the college management.

Similarly, in a school in Hayat Nagar, a case was filed against the principal of a school for asking girls to take off the hijab during the examination.
