YS Viveka murder: Suspense continues on CBI probe as deadline ends today
The deadline for the CBI’s investigation into the former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case is ending today. However, there is suspense over the decision that the CBI will take regarding the investigation.

Porumamilla native becomes Kerala DGP
Porumamilla(YSR district): Kerala government has appointed Dr Shaik Darvesh Saheb, hailing from Porumamilla town of YSR district as new director general police (DGP) on Thursday.
His father Mabu Saheb Bala Swamy was a retired forest guard who resided at Bestha street in Porumamilla town.
Darvesh has completed his primary education at OLF English medium school and pursued Intermediate at government junior college in Porumamilla town while degree, PG in Tirupati.
He was selected for Indian Forest Service (IFS) in the first attempt itself and got selected as IPS in second attempt. Darvesh joined as superientendent of police in Kerala cadre. Later, he discharged responsibilities as deputy inspector general (DIG), inspector general (IG) and now reached the highest position of DGP in Kerala.
Residents of Porumamilla town expressed happiness over appointment of Darvesh as DGP in Kerala state.

YS Viveka murder case: CBI files chargesheet, accused remand extended
The CBI has filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Nampally court today in connection with the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy on the last day of the deadline imposed by the supreme court. The CBI has already interrogated the accused and suspects multiple times in this case, recording the statements of all those involved and filed the third chargesheet.
As the remand of the accused in this case ended, the CBI officials produced them in court. The CBI court extended their judicial remand for 14 days and adjourned the hearing to July 14.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear Sunitha’s petition seeking the cancellation of YS Avinash Reddy’s anticipatory bail. The case was heard by Justice Suryakant and Justice MM Sundaresh, and it was ordered to be listed before the Chief Justice bench for further hearing on July 3.

Two workers dead after reactor explodes at Atchutapuram SEZ
Anakapalli: A major fire broke out in a pharma company located at Atchutapuram Special Economic Zone in Anakapalli district.
Two reactors are said to be exploded causing thick flames and smoke.
