Collision between trailer and pickup, 1 killed

Korba. The news of a painful road accident has come to light from the district. There was a tremendous face-to-face clash between the trailer and the pickup near Jatraj Mod under the Sarvamangala Chowki area. In this accident, the pickup driver died on the spot. Due to this horrific accident, a long queue of vehicles has formed on the road. On the information of the incident, the police has reached the spot and is engaged in the investigation. This incident is of Sarvamangala Chowki.

According to the information, there was a face-to-face collision between a trailer and a pickup full of vegetables near Jatraj Mod under Sarvamangala Chowki area. The driver of the pickup vehicle died in the accident. It is being told that a pickup vehicle filled with vegetables was coming from Bilaspur to Korba. That’s why this accident happened near Jatraj turn. Long queues of vehicles have formed after the accident at the spot. The deceased driver has not been identified yet. After the information of the incident, Sarvamangala Chowki in-charge reached the spot. At present, the police is investigating in this matter.

Ambulance accident victim, driver and helper seriously injured

Korba. The ambulance coming after leaving the patient in the district became a victim of the accident. The driver and helper were seriously injured in the accident. Both have been admitted to Podi Uporda Sub Health Center for treatment. The case is of Bango police station area.

According to the information, the accident happened on the main road near Madai under Bango police station area. Injured driver Santosh Singh told that he was returning to Ambikapur after leaving the patient in Bilaspur, when his ambulance lost control and collided with the roadside divider in Bango police station area.

The ambulance has been badly damaged in the accident. While driver Santosh Singh and helper Mohammad Ansari were seriously injured. Passengers informed Dial 112 about the accident. Police reached the spot and admitted both the injured to the Sub Health Center at Podi Uproda.

Dumper hit the pole, electricity failed in the area

Korba. The dumper hit the roadside street light pole near Deepka Chowk, which damaged the pole. There was darkness on the road due to interruption of power supply due to delay in improvement. Heavy vehicles engaged in transporting coal from the coal mine put pressure on the road. The traffic could resume only after the damaged pole was removed.

Street lights have been installed along the road from Deepka Thana Chowk to Shramik Chowk. Around 4 pm on Friday evening, the dumper driver damaged the street light while driving carelessly. Due to this, the movement of heavy vehicles engaged in coal transportation stopped for a while. SECL’s power reform staff reached the spot and removed the street light pole that fell on the road. After this the movement of heavy vehicles started. Due to the delay in the improvement work, there was darkness on the road in the evening.

Horrific road accident on VIP road, 7 people injured, 4 serious

Korba. A speeding car rammed three bikes one after the other around 11.30 pm on Tuesday night near Indira Chowk on VIP Road in Korba district. In the accident, all the three bike riders fell down on the road. 7 people have been injured in the accident, out of which the condition of 4 people is serious. The case is of Civil Line Rampur police station area. Injured youth Manish Rathia told that he and his partner Harish were returning after working in a wedding ceremony. He told that while they were going towards Rampur from CSEB side, the car was coming from Rampur ITI side. Meanwhile, before Indira Chowk Patharipara, a speeding car rammed his bike. Along with this, 2 more bikes which were on the way were also caught in their grip. Due to this, along with both of them, the youth riding on 2 other bikes also fell on the road.

Passengers informed the police. Police said that 7 people were injured in the accident. The condition of 4 of these people is critical. The injured have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital. The injured Manish Rathia is a resident of Rampur Irrigation Colony. Harish Sarathi is a resident of Patharipara. The condition of both of them is serious. At the same time, Bhadrapara residents Kishan Patel and Chhotu are also seriously injured. Apart from these four, 3 other youths are also injured, who are undergoing treatment. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera. The accused car driver fled after hitting all the three bikes. Police is looking for the unknown car driver. The help of CCTV footage is being taken to identify the white colored car. Action will be taken by tracing the owner of the car from its number.

Retired worker dies, falls into pit along with scooty

Korba. While going to the village with his sister, the retired child worker fell into the pit along with his scooty. The seriously injured retired personnel died in the incident. Kharmaera resident Khuderam Mahilange was a retired employee of Balke.

He had gone to the house of his elder sister Baijanti Anant and younger sister Manisha Mahilange, residing in NTPC, from where Activa was going to his home village Agarkhar (Balaida) with younger sister Manisha in CG-12-AT-2517. The Activa fell into a pit near Sarvamangala Chowk. On being taken to the hospital, the doctor declared Khuderam dead.
