Rightwing groups communalise TSPSC’s ‘no ornaments’ order

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal warned the Telangana State Public Service Commission against asking Hindu women to remove bangles, nose rings, and earrings during the Group IV exam scheduled on Saturday.

Pagudakula Balaswamy, Campaigner, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Telangana said that by asking women candidates to remove bangles and other ornaments while entering the exam centre the TSPSC is hurting the sentiments of Hindus.

“Officials don’t even touch Muslims, for hijab or burka, and are enthusiastic in asking Hindu women to remove their ornaments. The women should revolt against the authorities if they are asked to remove the jewelry at the exam centre,” said Balaswamy.

He further said that wherever anyone has any problem they can contact Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal.

Balaswamy said recently, in a college in Santoshnagar when the college management asked a student to remove the hijab while writing the exam, the State Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali himself got involved and took action against the college management.

Similarly, in a school in Hayat Nagar, a case was filed against the principal of a school for asking girls to take off the hijab during the examination.

VHP leader gave a big statement on banning Bajrang Dal in CG

Raipur. Those who are talking about banning Bajrang Dal should know that the central government has the right to ban any institution, not the state government. They have formed the government in Karnataka by talking about banning Bajrang Dal. But don’t be under the illusion that we will form the government here too. Do not try to bring Bajrang Dal in the middle. This was said by Alok Kumar, National Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Informing the media about the decision taken in the meeting of the Central Management Working Committee, Alok Kumar said that the action plan prepared for setting the target of Shashthipurti in 2024 was discussed. Discussions were held on conversion, love jihad, cow slaughter and freedom from government takeover of temples. He told that apart from all the 44 provinces, a total of 200 officials from outside were present. He told that the meeting concluded with a resolution to stop the attack on the Hindu family system and to stop the conversions and to ban the conversions. Giving information about Bajrang Dal’s countrywide Shaurya Jagran Yatra, it was said that this Shaurya Yatra will go to all the blocks and blocks of India. There will be huge gatherings in big cities. This pilgrimage of saints can take place in more than 5000 villages.

He said that the Ram temple will be inaugurated during this time. People will gather at temples and other places. There will be inauguration programs of Ram Mandir in all the big temples. Three major programs have been decided. Along with this, he said that India’s system is breaking due to the order of the Supreme Court. If a man has sex with a woman, punitive action can be taken. Alok Kumar told that we have given values to teenagers and children. This time the World Hindu Conference will be held in Bangkok in November, in which Hindus from India and abroad will come. On the other hand, regarding conversion, he said that both the Center and the state will be asked to bring laws quickly to make love jihad and illegal conversions. Where there is law, there is self-study

Bommai slams Congress for questioning link between Bajrangbali & Bajrang Dal

Hubballi (IANS): Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday slammed the Congress for questioning the link between Bajrangbali and Bajrang Dal, saying that their relation is same as that of Lord Ram and Hanuman.

Speaking to reporters in Hubballi, CM Bommai stated that Karnataka Congress President D.K. Shivakumar had raised a question on the connection between Bajrang Dal and Hanuman. “The relationship which Shri Ram and Hanuman had existed between Bajrang Dal and Hanuman,” he maintained.

Hanuman is a great devotee of Shri Ram as per Hindu sacred epic scripture Ramayana. Shri Ram and Hanuman are revered all over the country and by all people who are Hindus cutting across the caste and creeds.

One should understand that hurting religious feelings is not appropriate. “We have given our programmes in the manifesto and they should tell theirs and let the people decide,” he stated.

Chief Minister Bommai accused the Congress of bringing in communal, casteist and religious emotions between people. The policy of appeasement is compelling them to do all this, he added.

“The Congress is not able to come out from the clutches of SDPI and PFI. It is under their total control. SDPI is another form of PFI. They have done this after succumbing to the pressure of SDPI. They are pressuring Congress that after the central government banned PFI, nothing has been done and threatened that they won’t support them,” CM Bommai stated.

The SDPI is encouraged by the Congress. Now, the situation is that tail is controlling the body and SDPI is controlling Congress after it is grown well in the state, CM Bommai maintained.

Asked about SDPI being dubbed BJP’s “B-team”, Chief Minister Bommai maintained that if that was the case why would they ban PFI? SDPI and PFI are the same. The statements are made to hush up their mistakes.

When asked about Sonia Gandhi’s state tour, CM Bommai stated that he would welcome her. “We won’t cry like Congress if national leaders come to the state for campaigning,” he underlined.

Congress releases manifesto, promises action against Bajrang Dal, PFI

Bengaluru: The Congress party on Tuesday in its manifesto for the upcoming May 10 Karnataka Assembly elections said it will take “decisive action” as per law including banning organisations like Bajrang Dal, the Popular Front of India and others.

“We will take decisive action as per law including imposing a ban on any such organisations, read the Congress manifesto released by the party president Mallikarjun Kharge here.

“The Congress party is committed to taking firm and decisive action against individuals and organisations spreading hatred against communities on the grounds of caste and religion,” read the Congress manifesto.

“We believe that law and Constitution are sacrosanct and cannot be violated by individuals and Organisations like Bajrang Dal, PFI or others promoting enmity or hatred, whether among majority or minority communities,” it added.
The manifesto was released in the presence of former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, the KPCC President DK Shivakumar and Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera.

Previously this April, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said each vote to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will protect the State from the banned outfit Popular Front of India (PFI).

Addressing a public meeting at Shirahatti, Shah had said, “Each vote counts, so ensure it goes to the right leadership. When the people of Karnataka press the ‘Lotus’ symbol, understand that you are not voting to elect an MLA or a minister and Chief Minister. Your vote will further strengthen PM Modi’s hands in creating ‘Mahan Karnataka’. Your vote will protect Karnataka from PFI.”

Notably, the PFI and its many affiliates were declared ‘unlawful association’ by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in September last year after its involvement in violent activities came to light during investigations carried out by various state police units and national agencies.

Karnataka will go to Assembly polls on May 10 and the counting of votes will take place on May 13.
