    Baloda Bazar. Kevra Bai husband Bhagela Ram Dhruv, resident of village Arjuni of Lavan area under Balodabazar Forest Division, age 55 years had gone to room number 137 of Arjuni complex to pluck Tendupatta. Which was suddenly attacked by the bear, due to which she got injured. Who was immediately taken to Primary Health Center Arjuni where after first aid was referred to District Hospital Balodabazar.

    In relation to the said incident, an application was presented by Kevra Bai before Collector Chandan Kumar. On which the Forest Department, while taking prompt action, prepared a case of life-threatening injuries and transferred the compensation amount of Rs 51 thousand 23 to her account as per the medical bill submitted by the applicant. The department makes an appeal to the general public that if there is any loss due to wild animals, then immediately inform your nearest forest staff, so that the compensation amount fixed by the department can be given in lieu of the said damage. In case of any kind of damage caused by wild animals, compensation amount fixed by the government is provided. The details of which are as follows. Rs 6 lakh is given in case of loss of life, maximum Rs 59 thousand 100 in case of injury, Rs 30 thousand in case of animal loss and Rs 9 thousand per acre in case of crop loss.

A fire broke out late night in a hotel located near village Chirpota Pulia of Lavan police station area, 10 km from Balodabazar. Cylinder leakage is said to be the cause of the fire. On the other hand, the second incident is of village Gitkera under Palari police station area. A house caught fire here. The fire spread so fast that it engulfed the adjacent house as well.

    In this arson, a person Devcharan Verma got scorched while saving his bullock. And a bull died in the arson. The team of Fire Department Balodabazar reached the spot and controlled the fire. But by then a lot of damage had already been done. It is not known how the house caught fire. On the other hand, the injured person is undergoing treatment at the Community Health Center in Palari. Police is investigating both the cases. The fire brigade has brought the fire under control at both the places.

Damaged. The incident happened late at night, so there was no casualty and a major accident was averted.

Despite having a bypass road, vehicles are allowed to enter from inside the city, due to which incidents keep happening every day. The incident that happened is not the first. Even before this the incident has happened but neither the district administration nor the people’s representative is taking any concrete step on it. Now it has to be seen how the RTO department along with the district and police take this incident and what measures are taken to prevent the accident.
