As per the information received, Saraswati Kumari (20 years) lived with her parents in Ambikapur. A few days ago, she had come to her maternal uncle’s place in Tetar Toli village of Bhulsikala. When she left the house on June 2 after getting ready, she did not return. Distressed by his non-return, maternal uncle called Saraswati, but her phone was switched off. When she was not found even after searching a lot, he informed her parents. After this, together with other people of the village, they continuously started searching for their niece.
On the other hand, Saraswati’s dead body was found on Monday in the footpath of the forest of Amadara Path of Gram Panchayat Amarpur. The villagers immediately informed the police about this. Police reached the spot, inspected the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The police have expressed apprehension that this is a case of love-affair and murder. On the basis of suspicion, 3 youths have been detained and are being interrogated. The police have said to disclose the matter soon.
