Raipur. Suneeta Kunjam, a resident of Village Panchayat Mundagarh of Darbha Janpad in Bastar district, secured the opportunity of self-employment through bank linkage. She is leading a happy and fulfilled life with her family while running a grocery shop in her village. Suneeta said that she joined the Lakshmi Mata Women’s Self-Help Group under the National Rural Livelihood Mission in 2019. She received financial assistance for self-employment through RF, CIF, and bank linkage, on account of which she established a grocery shop in 2020. She earns a monthly income of nearly Rs. 3–7 thousand from the shop. Sunita said that there are a total of five members in her family, including her husband and three children. The income obtained from the small business is quite sufficient to support them. She is also able to afford a good education for her children.

Cheating of 7 lakhs from 9 women, accused threatening to implicate in false case on demanding money back
Durg. The old Bhilai police has lodged an FIR under the section of cheating against two accused who cheated nine women of Charoda Basti in the name of getting them jobs in Bhilai Bank and Corporation.
In January 2021, the accused had taken Rs. When the women demanded their money for not getting a job, the accused started threatening to implicate them in a false case. After this the women complained to the police. On the basis of which an FIR has been lodged against both the accused under the section of cheating

Arrested for depositing fake notes in the bank
The police arrested a person for depositing counterfeit currency notes after mixing them with genuine currency at a bank in Panchkula.
The suspect has been identified as Mustakim Salmani, a resident of Mauli Jagran in Chandigarh.
The police spokesman said the Chief Manager of the Sector 16 branch of Bank of India lodged a complaint that Mustakim deposited cash in the bank on January 17 this year and some of the notes were later found to be fake.
A case under Section 489-B of the IPC has been registered at the Sector 14 police station.
The police arrested the suspect today and produced him in court, which remanded him in two-day police custody.
Sector 16 police post Incharge Gurpal Singh said earlier, Mustakim Salmani, along with his accomplice, was caught on February 16 near a toll plaza at Jagadhari with a total of Rs 8.5 lakh, including counterfeit currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100. A case under Section 489-A, B, C, and 120-B of the IPC was registered against them at the Chhappar police station. He said the suspect was brought from Chhappar on production warrant today.
