    Bemetara. In Bemetara district, a woman who went to work in the field died due to electrocution. It is being told that the electric wire in the field was bent, due to which the woman got electrocuted. The accident is of Nawagarh police station area. According to the information received, the electric wire was bent in the field of village Padkidih. The villagers had complained about this to the electricity department.

    But the electricity department did not take any action and the woman who went to work in the field on Friday became a victim of the accident. The villagers did a blockade, while the angry villagers blocked the Bemetara-Navagarh main road. The villagers have demanded a compensation of Rs 50 lakh. Let us tell you that former minister Dayaldas is present at the protest site along with his supporters.

    At the same time, four cattle died after coming under the grip of live wire in Godi village of Korba. Actually, the hunters had laid electric wire in the forest to hunt the animals. Carcasses of four cattle have been recovered near the wire. Presently the forest staff is probing the matter.

    Bemetara. A constable posted in Bemetara has warned of mass self-immolation along with the entire family. Actually, Constable Sandeep Sahu alleges that Bemetara MLA Ashish Chhabra had complained against him to the DGP. He was transferred after complaining. Sandeep has also alleged that after the complaint of the MLA, he was transferred without departmental inquiry, which is wrong. Now Sandeep has written a letter to the Governor regarding this whole matter and demanding that his transfer be canceled by saying it was wrong.

    In the letter written by Sandeep Sahu to the Governor, it was told that some time back action was taken by the Bemetara police against the illegal betting going on in the district. Many people had complaints about this action and because of this, angry people complained about constables and other police personnel to MLA Anand Chhabra.

    The MLA had also written a letter to the DGP recommending the transfer of SI Dhalsingh Sahu, Arvind Sharma ASI, Anupam Sharma Head Constable, Sandeep Sahu Constable, Jitendra Verma Constable, Nagesh Thakur Constable, Mahendra Sonwani Constable. After which all these policemen were transferred. Constable Sandeep Sahu, who was angry with the transfer without investigation, had also complained about it to the DGP. After no hearing here, a letter has been written to the Governor. Also demanded that if the transfer is not canceled within 20 days, he will commit self-immolation along with the entire family.

It is being told that the health of the accused deteriorated late at night, after which the police took him to the Community Health Center. After first aid, he was brought to the district hospital, where he died during treatment. This case belongs to Saja police station area.

    According to the information received, a few days ago the accused killed his ailing wife by pelting a stone on her head. While taking action in this matter, the police arrested him. On the other hand, his health deteriorated in police custody late on Wednesday night. The police immediately took him to the Community Health Center. After first aid there, he was admitted to the district hospital, where he died during treatment. How he died will be known only after the post-mortem.
