    According to the police, drug peddlers Sahil Qureshi alias Babu and Asif alias Chhotu Khan were arrested near the Cantonment Police Station area mosque. Both the youths were waiting for a pointer to give drugs. But as soon as they realized that the eyes of the police were on them, they started preparing to run away from there. That’s why the police team caught them by siege. In the search, 1310 pieces of drugs were found from the accused. During interrogation, both the youths have told about bringing the medicines from Banaras in Uttar Pradesh to Bhilai by train. Then these medicines were sold in the surrounding areas.

    The police have arrested two drug peddlers Sahil Qureshi alias Babu and Asif alias Chhotu Khan. 1310 pieces of drugs have been seized from them. The value of the seized drugs has been estimated at Rs 15,000. The role of Crime and Cyber Unit in arresting these accused was commendable. Police has taken action against Sahil Qureshi alias Babu and Asif alias Chhotu Khan under the NDPS Act.
