Insult to women who prepare mid-day meal in MP: Kamal Nath

Bhopal (IANS). Kamal Nath, president of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the Congress, has accused the BJP government of insulting the women who prepare mid-day meals. At the women’s self-help group conference at Bhel Dussehra ground in the capital, Kamal Nath said that in the 18-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state, not only injustice, but also humiliation has been done to the women who prepare mid-day meals.

Addressing the women of the self-help group, Kamal Nath said, “I do not want to call you cooks. You cook food and take care of children, in this way you are a social worker and build the future of the state. I listened carefully to you guys. You said that honorarium is not given properly, cylinder is not available and there are other problems. I do not go into detail of everything, but I want to make it clear that once the Congress government is formed, the injustice done to you will be removed and justice will be done to you. I am surprised to know how you have been tolerating this humiliation and injustice for so many years.

He said, “More than one crore youth are unemployed in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister promises to provide employment and jobs, I want to tell him that the contract workers and guest teachers who are already working, you should give them employment, that will be a big deal. My government got only 15 months to work, I and our government introduced policy and intention. Loans of 27 lakh farmers were waived off, 1000 Gaushalas were constructed, 100 units of electricity were given for Rs.100 and other development works were also done.

Kamal Nath said that 22 thousand announcements have been made in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in 18 years. Seeing the upcoming elections, Shivraj has become an announcement machine and now this announcement machine has turned into a machine of lies. In the government of 18 years, farmers are upset, youth are upset, women are upset, unemployment is at its peak. There is no limit to corruption. The policy of ‘give money, get work’ is going on in the state. The Shivraj government has imposed a debt of Rs 330,000 crore on the state. This loan is not being used to provide jobs to the unemployed or to increase the honorarium of women, but is being used for contracts and commissions.

Pointing to the people present there, Kamal Nath said, “Common people are standing. Ask Do you know what is UCC? Before the elections, he will do his thing, we will do our thing.

  • Shivraj government is now preparing to please the employees

Shivraj government is now preparing to please the employees

Bhopal (IANS) | Before the assembly elections to be held in Madhya Pradesh this year, the Shivraj government of the ruling party BJP is trying to please every section. Government has taken many decisions for half the population and farmers. The government also aims to please the working class in the coming days.

If we consider the number of employees and pensioners in the state, then this number is around 14 lakhs. Of these, 7.5 lakh are regular employees, 4.5 lakh are pensioners, and 2.25 lakh are contractual employees. The government is working on a strategy to appease these employees and pensioners. While there is a preparation to increase the dearness allowance of regular employees, the problem of pensioners also has to be resolved. Apart from this, a big gift can also be given to the contract employees from the government. Discussion on this is going on through the Staff Welfare Committee.

If experts are to be believed, the number of families belonging to 14 lakh employees, pensioners and contract employees and the number of voters associated with them reaches around 60 lakhs. Therefore, the government wants to play a big political game by making the employees happy.

The Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of the state has earlier succeeded in pleasing a large section of women through Ladli Bahna and also attracted farmers by increasing the Samman Nidhi. Now, in this sequence, if any decision is taken for dearness allowance to employees, other problems of pensioners and contract employees, then it can prove to be an election bet.

  • Fresh political controversy in poll-bound MP as video of Cong’s Naari Samman Yojana forms go viral

Fresh political controversy in poll-bound MP as video of Cong’s Naari Samman Yojana forms go viral

BHOPAL: Political controversies seem to erupt daily as the assembly polls draw closer in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh.

The latest controversy pertains to the opposition Congress’s much-publicized poll promise–the Naari Samman Yojana–which entails Rs 1500 monthly to financially weak women and Rs 500 gas cylinder if the Congress is voted to power in the upcoming assembly polls.

Young BJP state spokesperson Neha Bagga claimed on Saturday that the filled-up forms of Congress’s Nari Samman Yojana (containing sensitive data of women) are being used by roadside hawkers to serve snacks to customers–thus making those women vulnerable to trouble by fraudsters and anti-social elements.

Bagga shared a 44 seconds video, showing that filled up Naari Samman Yojana forms (which bear the picture of state Congress chief Kamal Nath) are being used to serve snacks to customers at some snacks stalls.

The video possibly has been shot in MP’s most populated city Indore.

In the video (TNIE cannot vouch for its authenticity), two men (possibly customers) are heard talking about Kamal Nath’s Naari Samman Yojana forms being used to serve the snacks along with chutney.

In the same video, when the customers ask the snack stall runner where he got the forms, he replies he purchased those papers from a scrap dealer.

The video shows snacks being prepared and sold as well as customers relishing the snacks in the same forms. The forms mentioned in Hindi, “Naari Samman Yojana, Sashakt Beti Samriddh Naari, Naariyon Ka Samman Madhya Pradesh Ka Abhiyan.”

While showing journalists the concerned video, the BJP state spokesperson Neha Bagga said, “The video exposes how in the name of Naari Samman Yojana a conspiracy has been hatched by the Congress to dupe women in the state. Women filled out these forms which contain their sensitive details, including Samagra ID, Aadhar Card, and phone numbers. Now these forms are being used to sell kachoris and moongfali in snack stalls. This will open floodgates for misuse of the sensitive details of the women (who’ve filled up these forms) by cyber fraudsters and other anti-social elements. BJP takes strong objection to this.”

“Who’ll take responsibility, the Congress party, Priyanka Gandhi or Kamal Nath, if these forms are misused by fraudsters and other anti-social elements to trouble and dupe those women whose details are contained in these forms? The BJP will explore legal options, including lodging FIR in the matter. If the need arose, then we’ll register a case against the Congress and its leaders for not protecting the interests of those women, whose details have gone public,” Bagga added.

The two promises in the scheme form part of the party’s five guarantees spelled out recently by Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at the MP poll campaign launch in Jabalpur on June 12.

As per state Congress sources, around 45 lakh women have already filled up the Naari Samman Yojana forms with the help of the Congress workers.

When contacted in the matter, Piyush Babele, the media advisor to the state Congress and its chief Kamal Nath, while expressing ignorance about the video shared by the BJP leader, blamed the BJP for it. “It’s quite possible that the video is the handiwork of BJP’s Dirty Trick Department only, to defame the Congress.”
