    The leaders besieged the central government for doubling the income of farmers, giving legal recognition to MSP and expanding it to all crops, banning the politics of hatred and hysteria, as well as other issues related to public concern.     In this case, Product Superintendent Rakesh Kumar told that secret information was received that liquor is being smuggled through the Gandak river by boat. On the basis of the information received, the team of the product reached the spot and raided after siege and two boats loaded with liquor were caught. But the smugglers fled as soon as they got a clue of the team’s arrival. He told that 50 cartoons of foreign liquor have been recovered from both the boats. At present, action is being taken against the recovered liquor under the Excise Act.

    Viral videos show distressing visuals of a fight triggered by one party requesting to shut the windows of a classroom while the other refused. Through a grilled window young students watched their headmistress, Kanti Kumari, and teacher, Anita Kumari, exchange heated words.

    As Kanti Kumari starts walking out of the classroom, the teacher runs after her with a slipper in her hand and begins hitting her with it. Another teacher joins in and the two wrestle her to the ground in the field. While one hits her with a slipper, the other uses a stick.

    A second video shows the fight finally being broken up by some men as the children watched on, visibly shocked. NDTV cannot verify the authenticity of these viral videos.

    In a letter sent to the District Education Officers, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Deepak Kumar Singh has said that all District Education Officers of the state should ensure that disciplinary action is initiated against teachers appointed through Panchayati Raj Institutions who Organizes or participates in any protest against the new rules made by the state government recently for the appointment of teachers in government schools.

    The letter said that there have been reports in the media that the teachers are planning to organize a protest against the new rules for the appointment of government teachers.

    It may be noted that the state cabinet had on May 2 approved the proposal to recruit 1.78 lakh teachers for primary, middle and high schools through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). A day after the cabinet cleared the proposal, protests broke out over the modalities of the appointments.

    Expressing objection to the manner of appointments, several unions of teachers had told it against the 3.5 lakh teachers appointed through Panchayati Raj Institutions.

    State General Secretary of Bihar State Secondary Teachers Association, Shatrughan Prasad Singh said that the letter issued by Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, violates the fundamental rights of the Constitution of India.

    He said that no citizen of India can follow any order which is anti-constitutional, Bihar Secondary Teachers Association. If the government makes a policy against us, then we have a fundamental right in a democracy to oppose it.

    He said that the government will have to be forced and rectify the mistakes. He said that the government wants to make those teachers who have been providing service for 20 years unemployed. Wants to lay off them. We will not give you this right at any cost.

    This whole matter is of Mirzapur village of Nathnagar, where even after years of marriage, Chanda Devi fulfilled the promise made at that time till the last moment. It is said that within a few hours of the death of husband Vishundev Mandal (80), his wife Chanda Devi (70) died. After this it remains a topic of discussion.

    According to the villagers, Vishundev Mandal, a resident of Mirzapur village, was ill for a few days and was being treated at home. He passed away on Monday afternoon.

    When the news of his death came to the nearby relatives and people, all the people reached his house. The atmosphere of the house became sad. Meanwhile, Mandal’s 70-year-old wife Chanda Devi was also saddened to see his demise and started mourning. After this he also gave up his life.

    Whoever saw and heard this incident was speechless. On Tuesday, the last journey of both of them was taken out with a marching band, in which all the people of the village took part. People bid farewell to both the elderly couple with moist eyes.

    Both the dead bodies were placed on the same pyre and lit. This incident is being discussed all over Nathnagar.

    The deceased couple has five sons and two daughters. According to the relatives of the deceased, there was a lot of love between the two. Both were made to complement each other. There was rarely a fight or estrangement between the two. The villagers say that even though both of them have left this world and gone to the other world, their love story will always remain immortal in this village.
