    Police seized 6 lakh cash from Naxalite associate, were going to deposit in bank

    Bijapur. Police have recovered Rs 6 lakh 20 thousand and Naxalite pamphlets from a Naxalite associate who had come to deposit Rs 2,000 notes of Naxalites in the bank. Joint party of CRPF and District Force took this action during MCP. According to the information received from the Bijapur police, the police had received information from the informer that a person from the Awapalli police station area was coming to Awapalli on a motor cycle to deposit the money of the Naxalites. Who has a huge amount of 2 thousand rupee notes. Following the information, a joint team of Avapalli Police and CRPF 229 Battalion C Company conducted MCP action near Talperu Petrol Pump on Wednesday.

    During the action, the person coming from the motorcycle was stopped and interrogated at the behest of the informer. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Mahesh Badse (24) resident of Murdanda Komathguda Thana Awapalli. In the cover bag fitted in the tank of his motorcycle, 3 bundles of 2000 – 2000 denomination and 10 notes were separately recovered from 1 white colored polythene totaling Rs 6 lakh 20 thousand, 30 pieces of banned CPI Maoist organization pamphlets. It was asked to submit valid documents regarding recovered material and amount. But no documents were submitted.

    Bijapur. The health department has been alerted after the virus of Japanese fever reached Bastar division. Tribal villagers are being investigated by setting up camps in Bhairamgarh block of Bijapur district. In the past, a case of Japanese fever was found in Pinkonda Kanerpara of Bhairamgarh block. Here the symptoms of Japanese fever were found in the blood samples of three minors. The health department has been alerted after receiving cases of Japanese fever. Investigation is being done by setting up health camps in the village.

    In Pinkonda Kanerpara of Bhairamgarh block, a week back a girl named Ramana had complained of fever. Health department’s Malaria Supervisor Sandeep got the blood sample tested. Symptoms of mixed malaria were found in the investigation. Due to non-curing of fever, the sample was sent from Nelsnar to Dantewada and then to Jagdalpur. Supervisor Sandeep Marpalli told that the girl’s blood samples were sent to the Medical College, where she was confirmed to have Japanese fever. The supervisor of the health department took blood samples of the girl’s siblings and sent them to the medical college. Where the remaining two children were also confirmed to have Japanese fever. All were treated at Medical College Jagdalpur. Everyone has returned to their village after getting healthy. Villagers are being examined by setting up a health camp in Pinkonda village. To prevent malaria, the villagers have been told to use mosquito nets, drink pure water and live cleanly.

    Bijapur. Outbreak of diarrhea is being seen in more than 13 villages of Bijapur district. Villagers are suffering from vomiting, diarrhoea. Within the last two days, more than 300 patients have reached the hospital for treatment. Due to non-availability of space in the hospital, the patients have been admitted to the children’s ashram of the village itself. The team of doctors is treating the patients there. Some patients have also been shifted to another village hospital.

    Villagers of Mulcher, Kulra Palli, Mandem, Sagmeta and other villages of Bhairamgarh block are suffering from diarrhoea. According to the Health Department, maximum number of patients have reached Farsegarh Sub Health Center in the last two days. Due to the smallness of the building, there is no place to admit patients, so many patients were referred to Farsegarh Ashram and some people were referred to Kutru Hospital in the nearby village. Here, the Health Department says that the condition of more than 12 villagers remains critical.

    According to Dr. Ramesh Tigga and Dr. Nikhalesh Nand, who are treating the villagers, the villagers have fallen ill due to the scorching heat. There is shortage of water in the bodies of the villagers. Due to which they have to struggle with vomiting, diarrhoea, fever. However, efforts are being made to cure those by offering drip. Complaints of malaria, sugar, blood pressure are also being seen among the villagers.

    Bijapur. On Monday, the police arrested 2 Naxalites who planted an IED with the intention of attacking the police team and were involved in the kidnapping of a villager. Both the arrested Naxalites have been sent to jail.

    According to the information, the team of District Headquarters DRG and Thana Bijapur had gone on an anti-Maoist campaign on Monday. This team had left for Gorna, Mankeli, Peddakorma. During the operation the team caught 2 Maoists involved in Maoist crime between Kokra and Thana Bijapur. Maoist Sannu Korsa has been the president of the Janatana government and Naxalite Raju Korsa has been a member of the militia platoon. On October 11, 2019, both were involved in the incident of abducting a Kokra villager and assaulting him accusing him of being a police informer in Bijapur police station area. Apart from this, on 9 June 2022, he was also involved in the incident of IED plant and explosion on the police party engaged in the security of Gorna-Mankeli road construction. Two permanent warrants against Sannu Korsa and one against Raju Korsa are pending in Police Station Bijapur. Action was taken against both the arrested Maoists at Police Station Bijapur and presented in Bijapur Court, from where they were sent to jail.

According to sources, the DRG team from Reddy camp had left for Naxal patrolling search this morning. During this, there was an encounter between the police and the Maoists in village Kachlawari at 8 am. No police personnel has suffered injuries in the encounter. There is information that 2 Maoists have been arrested from the spot.
