    Bilaspur. There was a gang war in the city last night, in which there was a deadly attack on each other between the gangs of old gangster Medi and Wasim Khan. Armed with weapons, the miscreants attacked a young man. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed around the spot. Tarbahar police have arrested 4 accused who carried out the incident, and others are on the lookout.

    Let us inform that, last night around 1 to 2 o’clock there was a dispute in front of the Heavens Park Hotel near the old bus stand. The dispute escalated to such an extent that a fatal attack was made among themselves, due to which one party suffered a serious injury. At the same time, after getting information about the incident, Tarbahar police reached the spot, seeing which some people ran away. The police of Tarbahar police station is probing the matter. The attackers have also been identified. The attack was done on a young man named Bhaskar Verma. He is badly injured.

    According to the information, the accused had planned the murder of Bhaskar Verma. When Bhaskar’s car broke down, his friend Naveen Goswami came with his moped to pick up Bhaskar in front of Heavens Park street. At the same time 10-15 people reached in 2 cars and 3 bikes. The attackers included Bilaspur’s history-sheeter Ritesh Nikhare alias Medi, Siddharth Sharma alias Chhotu Sabir alias Ranu Khan, Golu Foreigner, Aditya Prakash Dubey, Sonu Khan, Prince Sharma, Kavya Garhwal and other attackers. All of them started abusing Bhaskar Verma and started beating him. Bhaskar ran hither and thither to save his life, after that the attackers surrounded him with the weapon they had brought and started attacking him. The police have arrested four people involved in the incident. In which Kavya Gadhewal resident Koni, Siddharth Sharma resident Rajendra Nagar Civil Line, Prince Sharma resident Construction Colony Tarbahar, Ayush Maratha Kududand are included.

    Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur said at Bilaspur today that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given big development projects to the state.

    He said that in Bilaspur district alone, projects like AIIMS, Hydro Engineering College, Bhanupali-Bilaspur-Barry railway line and the Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane highway would change the life and economy of local people.

    He added that the four-lane highway would reduce distance between Bilaspur and Chandigarh by 37 km and save the time and money if people. The construction of the Shimla-Mataur four-lane highway would also greatly benefit people.

    Anurag said that the BJP had won all four seats in Himachal in the last Lok Sabha elections and this time also, it would repeat its performance. He added that an Astroturf would be laid at the hockey field after a detailed project report (DPR) was received from the state government while DD, Shimla, would also start telecasting district news soon.

    He said that Congress leaders had been stalling the Lok Sabha session to meet their ulterior motives.
