    Corporation Commissioner Kunal Dudawat has started the initiative to organize the city as well as to create a traffic system. Under this, action is being taken by running a campaign against roadside kiosks and hawkers with food. Along with instructions to take strict action against those who have occupied government land, an order has been issued to demolish illegal constructions.

    Wherever complaints are being received, the team of encroachment department is taking action. On Wednesday also, under the leadership of Pramil Sharma, in-charge of the anti-encroachment squad, a campaign was launched to break illegal encroachments at different places.

Meanwhile, at around 9:30 pm, Nandu was at Ghritalhare’s house. He suddenly saw smoke coming out of the house. Immediately he came out of the house and told the people around about the smoke coming out of the house. While reaching back home with the neighbors, the fire in the house took a gigantic form.

    Nandu and other people of the village tried to control the fire but the fire kept on increasing. Slowly the fire started spreading to two neighboring houses as well. The family and the villagers started trying to extinguish the fire by bringing water from buckets. But the fire spread further due to the electric goods, gas cylinders kept in the house. The fire brigade was informed about the fire.

During interrogation at the police station, the security guard first tried to mislead the police with a fabricated story. The accused told that “3 to 4 youths had come there and started fighting by showing knives and threatening to kill. Because of this, he ran away in fear.”

He broke down after the police took strict action and confessed to stealing the liquor in the shop along with another of his accomplices. On the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case and started investigation.

    During the investigation of this case, the police came to know that along with the accused husband and wife, other people have also met, who have made the complainant woman and her relatives as well as many other people their victims. The accused had also claimed to get double the money within six months for investing in setting up a water plant. In the investigation, it was found that the accused have recovered more than two and a half crore rupees by cheating in this way.

    During the investigation of this case, the information of Subhash (48) Tati, father of Balko resident of Korba, late Govindram Tati and his wife Meena (38) Tati alias Nina Tati was collected. Along with this, the police has also prepared the horoscope of his associates. It was learned on Monday that both the husband and wife are in the process of leaving Korba and running away. He was nabbed after raiding Korba. Search is on for other accused in this case.

The police questioned the guard about the miscreants. During interrogation, the guard told that “3-4 miscreants reached the distillery at 4 in the morning. The thieves first threatened me, then assaulted me.” After the fight, the miscreants chased away the guard as well. All the miscreants entered the shop by breaking the lock of the liquor shop. However, nothing was found in the hands of the thieves. The thieves stole the DVR of the CCTV after getting angry on not getting anything.
