Jagdalpur. The police have constituted an investigation team in connection with the acid attack at a wedding ceremony at Hirle Bhata in Bhanpuri village. The FSL team has also been contacted to test the acid in this incident. The FSL team has started investigation by taking samples of the injured. The police suspect that a close acquaintance may have carried out the incident. Therefore, in the investigation, the mobile records present in the program are also being searched. A record is also being prepared of the people sitting near the bride and groom during the event. Apart from the baraatis who came from Sudha Pal in the programme, a list of other guests present in the village is also being prepared.
In this incident, the marriage ceremony was about to be completed and just before the last program when the lights went off, suddenly someone threw acid towards the bride and groom, due to which 10 other people standing near the bride and groom also got scorched. In the night itself, all the injured were brought to the hospital for treatment in a hurry. Although everyone’s condition is out of danger. In the investigation of the case, the police is also probing the possibility of enmity and dispute between the people related to the bride and groom.
