    Patna. Road accident in Bihar is not taking the name of stopping. Horrific road accidents keep happening every day. The latest case is of Naubatpur near Patna. Where the passenger bus going from Chhattisgarh to Patna suddenly collided with a tree around 3:00 am to 4:00 am. The collision was so strong that it was completely damaged from the front.

    The accident happened near Vikram Mod of Naubatpur police station area. After getting information about the same incident, the police reached the spot. And with the help of the people present there, the injured passengers were admitted to a private hospital. After preliminary investigation, he was referred to Patna AIIMS. It is being told about this accident that the passenger bus going from Chhattisgarh to Patna used to go to Patna every day via Batpur area. But on Saturday morning, the speeding passenger bus lost its balance and collided with a roadside tree near Vikram turn.

    Regarding the incident, Police Station President Prashant Kumar Bhardwaj said that a passenger bus collided with a tree on Saturday morning near Vikram Mod of the police station area. In which about 18 people have been injured. At present, all the injured have been admitted to Patna AIIMS and treatment is going on. However, no one has lost his life in this incident.

    JAMMU: At least 10 people were killed and 55 others injured on Tuesday after a bus plunged into a deep gorge in Jammu district, police said.

    According to the police, the accident took place in the Jhajjar Kotli area after the driver lost control of the vehicle which was on its way to Katra town from Amritsar.Confirming the toll to reporters, Jammu SSP Chandan Kohli said the “rescue operation is almost complete and an SDRF team is also present on the spot”.

    “The bus was carrying more passengers than the prescribed limit which will be probed during the investigation,” he added. Four critically injured passengers have been shifted to the Government Medical College, Jammu.

    Four migrants riding a bike (HP 12M 0758) were killed when their vehicle collided with a private bus coming from the opposite side near Indo Farm industrial unit at Bhud in the Baddi industrial area around 6.35 am today.

    Confirming the news, Baddi DSP Priyank Gupta said four bike riders, all migrants from Uttar Pradesh who were employed here, were killed when their bike collided with a bus at Bhud village this morning.

    The post-mortem would be conducted tomorrow to ascertain whether they were under the influence of liquor or some intoxicant. The deceased were identified as Bablu (22) and Anuj (29), both from Bareilly, Chander Sen (30) of Badaun and Jeetu (25) of Moradabad.

    Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Manoj Sinha expressed grief and directed the administration to provide all necessary assistance to the affected people.

    Bihar CM Nitish Kumar also expressed grief. In a statement, the CM’s office issued instructions for payment of Rs 2 lakh as ex gratia to the next of the kin of each deceased.

    Dhaka: At least 17 people were killed and more than 26 others injured when a passenger bus veered off the road and fell into a ditch in Bangladesh’s central Madaripur district, nearly 63 km south of the capital Dhaka on Sunday.

    Abdullahel Baki, a local Shibchar Highway Police official, told reporters that “the passenger bus felt into a roadside ditch, leaving 14 passengers dead on the spot and about 25-26 were injured”.

    He said three of the injured died on the way to local hospitals, Xinhua news agency reported.

    The accident occurred as its driver lost control over the vehicle and plunged the bus into a ditch on an expressway at about 7:30 a.m. local time.

    Bangladesh has one of the highest fatality rates for road accidents in the world mainly due to shoddy highways, poorly maintained vehicles, violation of traffic rules by inept drivers and lack of monitoring of the traffic department.
