    Chamoli: Terrestrial inspection of Chardham Yatra route done by DM and SP

    Today, on 25.04.23 District Magistrate Chamoli Himanshu Khurana and Superintendent of Police Chamoli Pramendra Dobal visited the Chardham Yatra road and reviewed the travel and security arrangements. During this, on-the-spot inspection of construction works of basic facilities (toilets, water, medical, ATMs, rest houses etc.) collected on the yatra route was done.

    After taking stock of the main halts and accident-prone/sensitive places on the yatra route, the concerned departments were directed to rectify the arrangements there. District Magistrate Chamoli and Superintendent of Police Chamoli inspected the tourist police outposts, duty points, passenger registration centers etc. on the Chardham route and reviewed the accommodation and other arrangements of the employees there.

    During the inspection, appropriate guidelines were given by the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police to all the departments and agencies related to the yatra regarding smooth, safe and uninterrupted yatra. During this, Deputy Superintendent of Police Karnprayag Amit Saini and officers were present.
