They have earned profits from the purchase of cow dung and the manufacture of Vermicompost. So far, the members of the group have manufactured about 643 quintals of Vermicompost and about 65 quintals of super compost. They have earned a profit of Rs. 2 lakh 50 thousand with the sale of 67 thousand 560 kg of manure.
     
    The women of the group are also engaged in poultry farming in RIPA (Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park). They are using the earned income for farming and other domestic work. Encouraged by the earnings made by women through poultry farming, other local women are also discovering better livelihood opportunities.

The group now earns lakhs from the sales of cow dung and by making vermicompost. Along with this, income-generating activities such as the cultivation of vegetables and poultry farming are also conducted. A member of the group stated that earlier they were bound to household chores, but after joining the group and working in Gauthan, their self-esteem and confidence have improved, and they are now heading towards self-reliance by working in Gauthan.
