A snake bitten an old woman sleeping on the ground in the house at night, due to which she died. 80-year-old Purai Bai, a resident of Dhandhani village under Urga police station, slept on the ground in the house on Wednesday night. He was bitten by a krait snake late at night. Due to this his condition started deteriorating. The family admitted him to the Medical College Hospital, where he died during treatment. On information, the police outpost of the hospital has established a cordon.

7 poachers arrested with tiger skin

Police seized gold and silver jewelery from the thief
Durg. The police had arrested a thief who used to commit big thefts alone. The accused used to go out on foot at night. Whatever house he found empty or closed on the way, he would enter there and commit theft. The police arrested the accused and seized gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 5 lakh from him. According to the information received from the Mohan Nagar police, a year ago a big theft took place in an empty house in Scindia Nagar. The police was engaged in solving that case.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, he got information from the informer that Pitambar Rao, a resident of Deepak Nagar, was looking for a customer to sell gold and silver jewellery. He has a lot of jewellery. The police reached Malviya Nagar according to the appearance and address given by the informer and laid siege and arrested Pitambar. At first Pitambar tried to mislead the police, but when strictly questioned, he confessed to his crime. He told that he confessed to theft in Scindia Nagar a year back. The accused told that he used to go out on foot at night. If he finds an empty house on the way, he enters it to steal. When he went to Scindia Nagar’s house too, he entered through the back door. Some people were sleeping inside. After that he crossed the jewelery worth lakhs kept in the cupboard.
According to the police, the accused has so far committed many thefts. He has also gone to jail for theft. He is being questioned about other thefts. The police seized jewelery worth Rs 4.5 lakh from the accused.

Life sentence for crazy lover, had murdered 3 people including widow girlfriend
Ambikapur. The district court has given a major verdict in the triple murder case in Ambikapur. The court has sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. In fact, on 9 September 2021, on the morning of Teej, there was chaos in the entire district due to three simultaneous murders. A headstrong lover had killed a widow, her innocent child and father-in-law. The accused in the case has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Ambikapur district court.
Actually, this whole matter is related to Udaynagar police station area of Ambikapur district. Three dead bodies were found on the morning of 9 September in Chattipara of Langa village. All three were from the same family. The dead body of Kalavati Sirdar was found inside the house. While the body of Chandrika Sirdar, the woman’s son, was found 30 meters away from the house. The dead body of Medhuram Sirdar (father-in-law of the woman) was lying at some distance from the house. This triple murder case that happened on the morning of Teej had surprised everyone.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, senior police officers reached the spot. Police arrested the accused youth within 12 hours after investigation. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. In the investigation of the police, it was revealed that the accused is a resident of Langa village. He loved Kalavati one-sidedly. The accused wanted to have an illegal relationship with the woman.
The accused suspected that the woman was having a love affair with someone else. For this reason, he reached her house on the night of 8 September. Opened the door. The deceased was already acquainted with the accused. So he opened the door. After that an argument started between the two. Meanwhile, the accused attacked the woman with a knife. When the woman tried to escape, the knife went and hit her 10-year-old son Chandrika Sirdar. The child ran away screaming after being stabbed. After that, the accused killed the widow woman by slitting her throat with a knife.
