Due to which the government is suffering a loss of 50 lakhs every day, while the mafia is storing it at many places after sand mining. So that sand can be sold at high prices during rains.

    The environment department has directed that sand mining should be done manually. But mining is being done through mining mafia machines. The mafia takes sand mining permission from machines so that maximum mining can be done. Excavation has not stopped in Datrangi, Datan, Bamhani, Mohan, Charoda Siriyadih, Chichpol, Putpura, Putpura 2, Bladakchhar Ghats keeping the rules in check.

The applicant Bhagirathi Navarange filed a report in the police station Tilda Nevra that he lives in ward number 02 village Sankara and operates a hotel outside the produce sponge plant Sankara. On 18.06.23 at around 07.45 pm, Bhukhan Verma of the village told the applicant that some people are fighting with your boy Takeshwar Navarange under the Sankara over bridge. On information, the applicant reached near the Sankara over bridge and saw that his son was lying unconscious on the ground covered in blood. The applicant admitted her son to the hospital for treatment and on inquiring about the incident from her daughter-in-law, she told that she had gone to the Sankara weekly market with Takeshwar Navarange to buy goods, had returned home after buying the goods.
    While buying goods, Takeshwar Navarange was going to the market with Rs. Roshan Chandre assaulting the applicant’s son over an old dispute. Threatening to kill him, with the intention of killing him, he ran away after inflicting serious injury on the applicant’s son with a stick kept with him. On which crime number 252/2023 Section 147, 148, 506, 307 Bhadvi was registered against the accused in police station Tilda Newra. Offense was registered. Under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Tilda Nevra, the team of Tilda Nevra police station, while making detailed inquiries from the applicant and the people around the incident, conducted continuous raids in every possible hideout of the accused involved in the case. Ganga Das Chandre, Raju Chandre, Pankaj Chandre, Tameshwar Chandre, Rajendra Chandre and Roshan Chandre were arrested and action was taken against the accused involved in the case.

Collector Sanjeev Jha took a review meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee constituted for the prevention of illegal mining and transportation of minerals in the collectorate assembly hall. In the meeting, he inquired about the action taken on illegal mining, transportation and storage of minerals in the district. Along with this, the members of the task force committee were instructed to take strict action against illegal mining, transportation and storage of minerals by visiting their respective areas. The collector directed the SECL management to take necessary action to prevent theft of coal in the SECL mining area. Along with this, the vehicles engaged in mineral transportation were directed to transport them systematically by covering them with tarpaulin.
    The collector also gave instructions to make monthly report/tax assessment of the mining sector in time. Collector Jha asked all the gram panchayats, urban bodies of the district to start the identified ghats for mineral sand mining as soon as possible under the Chhattisgarh Minor Mineral Ordinary Sand Excavation and Business Rules 2023. He also instructed the DFO, Tehsildar and all Janpad Panchayats to provide the investigation report and demarcation report for allotting the identified ghats. Superintendent of Police Udayakiran, Commandant CISF Bhaskar Kumar along with all SDMs and officers of Forest Department, Environment Department, Transport Department and Police Department were present in the meeting.

    Raipur. ED (Enforcement Directorate) has arrested one more accused in the case of alleged illegal levy in coal transportation in Chhattisgarh. Nikhil Chandrakar has been presented in the special court just a short while ago. This is the first case after the ED’s investigation started, when an accused has been produced in the court late in the evening. Please tell that Nikhil Chandrakar is considered close and trustworthy of Suryakant Tiwari, arrested in the Coal case. At such a time, Nikhil has been arrested and presented in the court, when Suryakant has applied for bail.
    The ED (Enforcement Directorate) produced businessman Arvind Singh, arrested in the alleged liquor scam of two thousand crores in Chhattisgarh, in the court of Special Judge Ajay Singh Rajput at the end of the remand period. ED again demanded remand for investigation and questioning, which was accepted by the special judge. ED remand of Arvind Singh has been approved till June 26. At the same time, after the removal of sections 120B and 384 in the charge sheet by the Karnataka Police, Suryakant Tiwari, Mineral Officer Shiv Shankar Nag and Sandeep Nayak, the main accused of alleged illegal levy in coal transportation, have applied for bail. Everyone has argued that no case will be made after removal of section 120B and 384 from the case registered in Karnataka. The matter will be heard on June 26. After two days of debate on the anticipatory bail application of Niranjan Das, Secretary and Commissioner of the Excise Department of Chhattisgarh, the special court has reserved its verdict. A decision on this can come on Wednesday. Advocate Matin Siddiqui appeared on behalf of Das. He argued that no case of 120B is made out. In this case, no case has been registered by the ED anywhere.


    The Excise Policy in Chhattisgarh was implemented in April 2019, while Das took over as Excise Secretary and Commissioner in May 2019. Das did not have the responsibility of buying and selling, he looked after the administrative work. No chat has been found in his name. Advocate Siddiqui cited the PMLA Act and said that Das’s angiography has been done. He has kidney problem. He also has problems with blood pressure and diabetes. Apart from this, they are not leaving the country. Significantly, the Karnataka Police has filed a charge sheet against Chhattisgarh businessman Suryakant Tiwari in the Bangalore court, in which sections 120B and 384 have been removed. Section 384 was added during the investigation in the FIR lodged by the ED in July 2022 at the Kadugodi White Field Police Station in Bengaluru. In the said criminal case, sections 120B and 384 come under PMLA. On the basis of these sections, in September 2022, ED had registered a case against Suryakant Tiwari and others and later arrests of other people took place.

    Janjgir-Champa. Lakhs of rupees were stolen from the house of a retired electricity worker in the district on late Monday night. The accused have made away with gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 1 lakh and goods worth Rs 3 lakh including cash of Rs 2 lakh. The case pertains to Naila Chowki area.

    According to the information, there is a house of retired electricity employee Maya Ram Gautam in Kapan village. On Monday night, the family members went to sleep in their respective rooms after having dinner. Between 1 to 1.30 am, unknown thieves entered the house by breaking the back door. The thieves also drank liquor while sitting in the hall, which the family members did not even know about. After this he locked all the rooms from outside.

    Maya Ram’s son Amir Singh Gautam was sleeping with his wife and children in the room where the almirah was kept. Here the thieves took out the cupboard kept in the room. Husband-wife and children sleeping in the room did not even get a clue of this. After this, the thieves also locked the door of that room from outside. The thieves fled from the spot with Rs 2 lakh in cash and gold and silver jewelery worth Rs one lakh kept in the cupboard.
