    Rapid action against liquor smugglers, seized a large amount of country made pauwa

    Balod. The police has taken swift action against the liquor smugglers. In fact, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Kumar Yadav, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Harish Rathore and under the supervision of Police Sub-Divisional Officer Prateek Chaturvedi, a special team was prepared for quick action on illegal gambling, betting and liquor spreading in the district.

    On which the accused Deepak Kumar Jeevan Lal Sahu age 32 years, near the village Aura Bhatha canal drain of police station Balod area, through communication by cyber cell Balod and the team of Balod by placing an ambush in police station Balod area, address – Hirapur Balod illegally. Madira plane Pauwa was carrying 134 nos. of blue colored Rajshree bag which was intercepted by the team. Action was taken against the accused under Crime No-272/2023 Section-34 (2) Excise Act in Police Station Balod.

    From the possession of the accused, 134 pieces of country plain liquor, pauwa worth Rs.10720, 01 piece of motor cycle, total jumla worth Rs.25720 have been seized. In the past, the accused Deepak Kumar Sahu was also transporting a total of 250 pieces of Pauwa country plane in a two-wheeler near village Kusumaksa country liquor shop of police station Rajhara area, which was caught under siege. The two-wheeler used in the incident was seized and action was taken against the accused in Police Station Rajhara under Crime No. 63/2023 Section-34(2).

    Police Station Balod Uni Khagendra Pathare, Sauni Dharam Bhuarya from Cyber Cell, Head Constable Bhuneshwar Markam, Head Constable Rumlal Churendra, Constable Akash Dubey, Constable Sandeep Yadav, Constable Puran Dewangan, Constable Yogesh Gedam have played a commendable role.

Giving information, Forest Divisional Officer, Dharamjaygarh Forest Division said that on June 14, 2023, room number 564 RF of Purunga complex under forest area bark. 01 wild animal wild elephant male cub was found dead in a place named Chowkdhoda. Whose information was given by Mr. Vinod Kumar Patel of village Purunga to the area assistant Hati at 6.30 pm.     On the morning of June 15, 2023, spot inspection was done again at the incident site and forest crime case was issued. Veterinary officers were informed for autopsy. Sub Divisional Forest Officer Dharamjaigarh and Forest Range Officer Chaal and their subordinate Forest Anals along with their subordinate Forest Officers conducted a detailed investigation of the site. No incriminating evidence was found near the scene of the incident and it was found in the spot inspection that the wild cub seems to have died in the mutual conflict between the elephants. Dissection of the dead body of the dead wild elephant cub was done by the district-level constituted veterinary committee in front of the Divisional Forest Officer, Deputy Forest Officer, Dharamjaygarh and the local Panches and a sample of the organs of the dead elephant cub was prepared for poisoning test. After that, the body of the dead elephant was shrouded and buried by duly digging a pit. According to the post-mortem report, the wild male cub had internal and external injuries, which resulted in the death of the elephant cub due to interference during the struggle. Advance proceedings are going on in the case.

Tehsildar Dhamdha and Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue Dhamdha conducted a surprise spot inspection on receipt of information about illegal Murum mining and transportation in Naguva pond under village Hardi police station Nandini Nagar of Tehsil Dhamdha of the district, in which a JCB vehicle number BL 04 DC 5245 was found on the spot. Murum was found mining by, whose vehicle owner’s name is Dhruv Kumar Agarwal resident Gasti Chowk Durg Road Bemetara.

    A highway (truck) vehicle number BL 07B was excavated by the said JCB. 8511 (Hiva Malika’s name Raman Kumar Agarwal resident Durg Road Bemetara) was being loaded. Along with this, a highway (truck) vehicle number Bl 08.gj 8211 (name of vehicle owner Ravi Kumar Agarwal resident ward no. 16 Bemetara) was found transporting Murum without permission on Hardi road. The seizure deed of all the three vehicles was prepared on the spot. The seized vehicles have been kept in the custody of station in-charge, station Nandini Nagar. No competent document was made available from the concerned vehicle drivers regarding Murum mining and transportation. Punishable and punishable under Section 247 (7) of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code. Officers to the Collector Ch.     Raigarh. The dead body of a lover couple has been found in the forest in Farkanara village of Kharsia assembly constituency of the district. Both ended their lives by consuming insecticide. The young men and women were students of BSC final year. Police has sent the dead bodies of both for postmortem. The case pertains to Jobi Chowki area under Kharsia police station.

    According to the information, Chandrashekhar Rathia (22 years), a resident of Domnara village of Farkanara, was having a love affair with Jamuna Rathia (22 years), a resident of Farkanara, for a few years. Both wanted to get married. The loving couple, who were dreaming of marriage, had also told about their affair to the family members. On this, the family members of the young man went to Jamuna’s house to talk about the relationship between the two, but the family members of the young woman avoided them saying that they would talk later. After which both the lovers became very disappointed. He felt that the family members were not happy with their relationship.

    After this, at 3 am on Wednesday, the young men and women came out of their house on the pretext of making an excuse. He went to the nearby forest and ended his life by consuming insecticide. The next day the young men and women did not return home, so they started looking for them. Meanwhile, Ganga Kumar Rathiya, the brother of the deceased had gone towards the forest to defecate with his friends, where he saw the dead bodies of sister Jamuna and youth Chandrashekhar. After this, the brother of the deceased informed the villagers and the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and took stock of the incident. After this, the bodies of both were sent for postmortem. The family members are being questioned in the matter.

Four youths riding a bike collided with the vehicle of the company constructing the National Highway Fourlane. Due to which all the four youths died on the spot. All the four youths are residents of Kumhar Mohalla of Chaitma village.

    Road accidents are increasing in Chhattisgarh. Road accidents in Kawardha, Balodabazar, Balod, Korba are not taking the name of stopping. People are losing their lives in road accidents every day. Awareness campaigns are being run by the traffic department, but its effect is not visible.
