    Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched the ‘Chief Minister Chhattisgarhi Parv Samman Nidhi Yojana’ for non-scheduled areas of the state in a virtual program organized at his residence office here today. This scheme has been started on the lines of Mukhyamantri Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana with the aim of preserving and promoting Teej-festivals, culture and tradition of rural areas. ‘Chief Minister Chhattisgarhi Parv Samman Nidhi Yojana’ will be implemented in 6 thousand 111 gram panchayats of 61 development blocks of community areas of non-scheduled areas of the state. The unit of this scheme will be Gram Panchayat. To celebrate Teej festival, an amount of Rs 10,000 will be given to every gram panchayat in two installments under this scheme.

    On the occasion of the launch of the scheme, the Chief Minister released a total amount of Rs. Along with this, Chief Minister Baghel has given 03 thousand 793 gram panchayats of remaining 14 districts of scheduled areas including Surguja division of scheduled area under ‘Chief Minister Adivasi Parv Samman Nidhi’ as first installment at the rate of 05-05 thousand rupees today. A total amount of Rs 01 crore 89 lakh 65 thousand was also released. With this, this scheme has been implemented in the entire state. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel while inaugurating the ‘Chief Minister Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana’ at the Bharosa Sammelan held in Bastar on April 13, 1840 gram panchayats of Bastar division will get Rs. Grant money was released.

    Addressing the program, Chief Minister Baghel said that the work of preserving the culture and traditions of Chhattisgarh is very important in the development of Chhattisgarh. For this purpose, public holidays are being given in the state on Teeja, Hareli, Bhaktin Mahtari Karma Jayanti, Maa Shakambhari Jayanti (Chherchera), Chhath and World Tribal Day. Along with this, grand events are also being organized on these festivals. It is the feeling of the state government that through Teej-festivals, our new generation should get connected with their traditional values and feel proud of their culture. This is our aim behind events like National Tribal Dance Festival, Youth Festival, Chhattisgarhi Olympics, Basi-Tihar. The work of development of Devgudis and Ghotuls is also being done.

    The Chief Minister said that our folk festivals and our folk culture are connected with nature. Our forefathers have cherished Teej festivals on the basis of their experience. Our Teej-festivals start from Hareli and go on till Holi in Phagun. More festivals are celebrated in Sawan and Bhadon, because this is the time when our farmers and laborers work hard, there is fatigue in the body and there are also economic problems. It is important to organize festivals at this time because everyone gathers together and celebrates festivals so that they can forget the stress.

    The Chief Minister said that when we preserve and promote Teej festivals, we will also connect with nature. Climate change is a major challenge before us today. In such a situation, the protection of nature becomes even more important. The Chief Minister said that although an amount of Rs 10,000 is being given under the Chhattisgarhi Lok Parab Samman Nidhi, it is not a huge amount, but due to the Chhattisgarhi Teej festivals being organized through the Panchayats, people are following their tradition, our new generation is adopting its tradition. And connect with nature.

    He said that for the last few years only rituals were performed to celebrate the Teej festivals of Chhattisgarh. People were getting separated from these festivals. This is the reason why the state government has started organizing Teej festivals for their protection. Today, Sarpanch of Bhendiya Navagaon of Balod district, Mrs. Arya told that she comes to Chief Minister’s residence every Teej. Earlier Teej festivals of Chhattisgarh were not organized in the Chief Minister’s residence.

    The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarhi Olympics were organized this year with the aim of promoting Chhattisgarhi sports, in which 26 lakh people of different age groups took part. A provision of Rs 25 crore has been kept in the budget for the Chhattisgarhi Olympics. During the meeting, many women shared their experiences and said that they used to participate in sports at their maternal home, they had missed playing at their in-laws’ house. He got a chance to play again in the Chhattisgarhia Olympics.

    Addressing the program on this occasion, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey said that a lot of work has been done under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for the protection of Chhattisgarh’s identity, culture, food habits, lifestyle and Teej festivals. Minister of Tribal Development Department, Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, associated with the video conference, said that the Mukhyamantri Parab Nidhi Samman Yojana will prove to be very important for the protection of their Teej-festivals in scheduled areas and non-scheduled areas. Addressing the program virtually, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that this is a good plan to transfer the tradition of Chhattisgarhi Teej festivals to the next generation and to promote our culture. The Chief Minister held discussions through video conference with Mr. Ramvriksh Jagte, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Basantpur of Vadrafnagar area of Balrampur district, Mr. Suraj Patel, Sarpanch of Loing Gram Panchayat of Raigarh district and Mrs. Chidakash Arya, Sarpanch of Bhediya Navagaon in Balod district. Appreciating the scheme, Sarpanches said that the culture of Chhattisgarh has been promoted under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He thanked the Chief Minister for starting the Parab Samman Nidhi Yojana. Additional Chief Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department Mr. Subrat Sahu gave detailed information about ‘Chief Minister Chhattisgarhi Parv Samman Nidhi Yojana’.

    Raipur. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that in view of the heat in more than 10,000 Gauthans of Chhattisgarh, arrangements for fodder, water and shade should be made for the animals. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has instructed all the collectors of the state and the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat to visit the Gauthans and make arrangements for green fodder, sheds and water there along with Para. He said that Gothan should be approved in dependent villages of Panchayats as per the demand.

    Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was addressing the online transfer ceremony of Rs. 4 crore 40 lakh to cattle rearing villagers, women groups and Gauthan committees under Godhan Nyaya Yojana in a virtual program organized at his residence office here today. He said that a meeting of the Gothan committees should be held compulsorily for conducting the economic activities in Gothan. The Chief Minister expressed happiness over the fact that more than half of the Gauthans in the state have become self-supporting. Looking at the summer season, he said that the work of filling water from the canals in the ponds should be done at a fast pace, due to which the availability of water will remain and the water level will increase. Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey also addressed the program.

    It is noteworthy that 10 thousand 6 hundred and ninety gothans have been approved in 11 thousand panchayats of the state. Out of which more than 10 thousand gothans have been completed. In these Gauthans, 5 thousand 3 hundred 98 Gauthans have become self-supporting, through which assistance of Rs 50 crore 82 lakh has been given to buy cow dung. From April 1 to April 15, a total of 1.30 lakh quintals of cow dung has been purchased in Gauthans. In lieu of which, out of the amount of Rs. 2.59 crores to be transferred to cow dung vendors, Rs. 1.24 crores has been paid by the Agriculture Department and Rs. 1.67 crores by self-supporting Gothans.

    In 49 gothans of the state, units for making paint from cow dung have been approved, out of which 34 units have been established. Paint is being produced in 32 units. 87 thousand 8 hundred 27 liters of paint has been produced from these units and an income of Rs 97.08 lakh has been earned from the sale of 47 thousand 5 hundred 47 liters of paint. Water arrangements have been made in 20.20 lakh quintal para and 7 thousand 8 hundred 59 gothans in 33 districts of the state.

    Under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, about Rs 439 crore 73 lakh has been paid to the beneficiaries in the state so far. Till April 15, 2023, 112.34 lakh quintal cow dung has been procured in Gothans in the state. Rs 224 crore 68 lakh has been paid in lieu of cow dung purchased after the transfer of today’s amount from cow dung vendors. On the other hand, an amount of Rs 192.65 crore has been given to Gauthan committees and women self-help groups after the payment of Rs 1.81 crore made today.
