    Chittorgarh A 10-year-old girl died due to lightning in Bhoikheda area of Chittorgarh. Half of the innocent’s body got scorched due to lightning. The girl was on the farm with her parents when the lightning struck. The girl was taken to the hospital but by then she had died. On information, CI Vikram Singh of Kotwali police station, along with Bhoikheda councilor, all reached the rural hospital, where post-mortem of the dead body was handed over to the family members. Bhoikheda councilor Balkishan Bhoi told that Radha alias Komal (10) was on the farm with her father Ratan Bhoi and mother Seema.

    Radha also had a two and a half year old brother. The house is built next to the farm. Suddenly lightning struck and half of Radha’s body got scorched. Seeing this, his mother Seema screamed. Hearing Seema’s scream, the people around ran. He was immediately taken to the district hospital but by then he had died. As soon as this news spread, a wave of mourning ran in the entire area. Its information was given to Kotwali police station officer Vikram Singh Ranawat. CI Muay Jabta reached the spot. A large number of villagers got agitated outside the mortuary. Postmortem of the girl’s body was handed over to the relatives.

    Chittorgarh. Nimbahera police station seized 2 quintals 39 kg 300 grams illegal opium powder from a pick-up vehicle during the blockade and arrested an accused from Barmer district. SP Rajan Dushyant told that blockade was being done in Arnoda area on Tuesday by Sadar Nimbahera CI Virendra Singh Police Inspector May Japta. During the blockade, a Tata Yodha pickup vehicle was seen coming from Arnoda Road. The suspicious-looking person was stopped and searched as per rules.

    In the pickup, 15 black plastic bags containing illegal opium powder were found. Whose weight was 2 quintals 39 kg 300 grams. After confiscating illegal opium doda powder and Tata Yodha pickup, pickup driver village Somardi police station Sethwa district Barmer Shravan Kumar (33) son Ratnaram Vishnoi was arrested from the spot and a detailed inquiry is being made regarding the purchase and sale of illegal opium doda powder.
