    Bhilai. A miscreant attacked the Dial 112 team in Vaishali Nagar police station area. The accused was running to kill a person with a sword. The person was running to save his life and while running, he called dial 112. As soon as the information about this was received, the team of Dial 112 of Vaishali Nagar police station immediately reached the Ramnagar cemetery. But seeing the police, the accused did not stop, but started running fast to kill the person. During this, when the team of 112 stopped him, he hit the vehicle with a sword.

    According to CSP Nikhil Rakhecha, “Dial 112 received information that Thanu Yadav was running a person near Ramnagar cemetery with a sword in his hand. Police reached the spot after receiving the information. Police saw Thanu Yadav with a sword in his hand.” Taking and following. During this, when the police team tried to stop Thanu, he tried to kill constable Vijay Nag and the driver. The accused attacked the glass of the car with a sword. In which the driver got hurt. Then he went under Chandra Maurya Talkies. The police ran after the accused to catch him. He was found lying on the ground in Sector 4 area. Due to being intoxicated, the accused had fainted on the way. After this, the police caught him, who was admitted to the hospital due to head injury. Police has registered an FIR against the accused under sections of obstruction in official work, sabotage and Arms Act.

    SP Santosh Singh has started Operation Nijat against drugs in the district after taking charge. Under this, instructions have been given to take strict action to ban the illegal sale of liquor, ganja as well as intoxicants. A campaign is also being run in all the police stations of the district to nab drug peddlers. On the other hand, the constable of the team is fearlessly blowing smoke.     CRPF recruitment 2023: Notification issued for 1.3 lakh constable vacancies

    New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday issued a notification regarding recruitment for around 1.30 lakh posts of constables in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) with 10 percent reservation for Agniveers.

    The notification reads, “In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of the Central Reserve Police Force Act, 1949 (66 of 1949) and in supersession of the Central Reserve Police Force Group ‘C’ (General Duty/Technical/Tradesmen) Cadre Recruitment Rules, 2010 in so far as they relate to the post of (General Duty Cadre), Constable, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty) in Group ‘C’ post, General Duty Cadre in the Central Reserve Police Force.”

    Number of CRPF constable vacancies
    A total of 1,29,929 posts of Constable (General Duty) which includes 4667 posts for women in General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial Combatant) have been announced in the notification.

    The upper age limit shall be relaxable upto five years for the candidates of the first batch of Ex-Agniveers. And the upper age limit shall be relaxable upto three years for the candidates of Ex-Agniveers. Ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test (PET), it reads.

    It further reads that 10 percent of vacancies shall be reserved for Ex-Agniveers for recruitment to the post of Constable
