    New Delhi (IANS) | The Special Cell of Delhi Police has solved a blind case of extortion within three days of the incident and arrested two members of the gang. DCP Special Cell (South Western Range) Injit Pratap Singh said that the accused, identified as Dinesh Kumar Sah and Kishore, had demanded extortion of Rs 50 lakh from a businessman named Bahadur Singh Rawat.

    Kishore, a resident of Mangolpuri, suggested Dinesh to use the name of gangster Neeraj Bawana, who is from the same area.

    Initially, a case was registered in this regard at Khyala police station, but in view of the sensitivity of the case, the investigation was transferred to the special cell.

    The DCP said, “We checked the CCTV footage of the area and identified the scooty being used by the accused. Thereafter the ownership of the vehicle was checked and the same was found registered in the name of Dinesh Kumar Sah. Scooty was traced was traced and with the help of human resources and technical surveillance, its owner was identified and the vehicle was finally traced.”

    After the arrest, Kishore revealed that the scooty belonged to Dinesh who was the mastermind of the crime. After this Dinesh was arrested from Peeragarhi.

    The DCP said, “After lengthy interrogation and analysis of call detail records, it was found that the complainant is the owner of an MCB manufacturing firm, Elixir Engineering & Electrical Industries. Dinesh is also in the same business running ‘SAH Enterprises’.”

    New Delhi, (IANS) | Saket Court has directed the Delhi Police to register an FIR against real estate company Supertech while hearing a complaint by a person who has a flat in the company’s project ‘The Romano’ in Noida sector. 118 was outstanding in 2017 which has not been allotted till date.

    Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Dahiya directed the police to file a status report on the progress of the investigation by March 21.

    According to the complaint filed in the court through advocate Rudra Vikram Singh, the complainant booked an apartment in a project of Supertech on October 13, 2015, paying Rs 8,95,541 at the time of booking.

    It was further alleged that at the inducement of the representatives and directors of Supertech, they took loan from IHFL for financing the project on the assurance that they would pay interest on the loan amount till actual possession was given.

    The complaint also alleged that the possession of the flat was due in 2017, however, till date neither the flat has been allotted nor the interest is being paid by the said company as per the signing of the financing agreement. The time was assured by him.

    Singh, counsel for the complainant, argued that the flat was booked on the assumption that the said company had a sanctioned building plan, however, it has recently come to the notice of the victim that certain important facts in the form of RERA registration for the project were missing. was hidden. in the name of another company.

    “Moreover, despite making full payment in 2015, no work was started till 2016 and no communication was received from them. Even the interest payment to the finance company is being made by the complainant,” the court said. Is.”

    The court noted that perusal of the case file revealed that there were repeated ATRs filed by the Investigating Officer stating that notices were not being replied to by the directors of the said company.

    “Furthermore, when the reply in the final ATR was filed, the said company had contended that the construction work could not commence due to the CIRP proceedings initiated against the company by the NCLT, however that order was issued in 2021,” the court said. was passed, but reportedly the company was supposed to hand over the possession in 2017 itself and the reason for the delay seems unsatisfactory.”

    The court said that a perusal of the record of the case and the statements made by the complainant prima facie reveal a cognizable offense which needs to be investigated by the police. It is to be noted that the accused persons are in a position of influence and it appears that they have cheated an innocent buyer. He may have invested all his savings and earnings in that property.

    The court further noted that the identity of the accused persons is known to the complainant, however he has no means of collecting or gathering evidence against them to prove his claim.

    “The assistance of the State machinery is very much needed at this stage for proper investigation. Therefore, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Kalkaji Police Station has been directed to register an FIR for commission of offense under relevant sections and investigate the case in accordance with law,” the court directed.
