The morale of criminals is high in Congress rule, the police is helpless: Brijmohan Agarwal
Raipur. BJP MLA and former minister Brijmohan Agarwal said that after the formation of Chhattisgarh state, Raipur police has never been as helpless as it is today. Murder, attempt to murder, theft, smuggling, drug abuse have increased in such a quantity that the life of common people has become difficult. Knife-wielding has become a common occurrence here. Anyone who uses a knife suddenly leaves bleeding. People have started calling the name of the capital Raipur as Chakupur. While the police of the capital should be strict. Brijmohan Agarwal said that the criminals should be tightened. Despite seeing the criminals, the steps of the police are going backward. Entering the house, chilli powder is being looted in the eyes. In 15 days, 50 thefts have taken place in homes and within 1 month, more than 50 two-wheelers have been stolen in Raipur. Recently, thieves have uprooted the pole in front of the Women’s Police Station for beautification.
He asked what the Raipur police was doing. Either the criminals have government protection or there is collusion with the police? Otherwise, it is beyond comprehension that such incidents continue to happen continuously in the capital Raipur due to stings. The capital of any state is considered the safest, but our Raipur is making its mark as the most unsafe city in the country. Not only we public representatives, the general public is also very worried about the decreasing crime. MLA Aggarwal said that we constantly warn the Congress government in this direction. In the assembly session also, we put the government in the dock. Despite this, it doesn’t matter to them even an iota. The functioning of the police remains the same. It appears as if the Bhupesh government has shied away from its accountability towards the public. As far as the police are concerned, the Raipur police shows its activism only in political matters to please the Congress government. Serious incidents happening with common people have become common for them. Amazing police of Raipur. At least you would have kept the shame of your uniform. -
Issue a white paper on the announcements made in the meeting, implementation and their budget provisions: BJP
Raipur. State General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Vijay Sharma has said that in view of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s meet-meeting program in recent months, a white paper should be issued regarding the announcements, the current status of their implementation and the budget provisions of those announcements. So that the people of the state can be aware of the reality. Mr. Sharma said that it is very unfortunate and a sign of political rudeness arising out of authoritarian arrogance that whenever Chief Minister Baghel goes among the public, the meeting-meeting program turns into scolding. BJP State General Secretary Mr. Sharma said that after the meeting, Chief Minister Baghel is once again going among the public. The recent campaign of meeting-meeting has basically proved to be a program of scolding.
It may be Chief Minister Baghel’s own political culture to display political arrogance by speaking in a scolding style with the general public present in the meeting and we have nothing to say on that, but it is the responsibility of Chief Minister Baghel that he Let us know whether the announcements made during the meeting have been fulfilled? Among them there are announcements worth crores of rupees, for which there is no provision in the budget, but there is no discussion about those announcements in the budget either! Mr. Sharma said that Chief Minister Baghel is going to the public after a fresh migration, then the question arises that what happened to the announcements made during the earlier meeting-meeting program? Have they been implemented? Chief Minister Baghel should first issue a white paper on the meet-meet programs and the announcements made during that time, so that the people of the state can clearly understand what happened earlier and what is going to happen next? Mr. Sharma said that Chief Minister Baghel’s proposed program of going among the public without issuing a white paper is more than a display of authoritarian arrogance and political rudeness to once again reprimand the public, scare the youth and mislead the state. Nothing will happen. -
Promise of 10 days, even after 1500 days there is no intention of regularization: Chaudhary
Raipur. Chhattisgarh State BJP General Secretary OP Chowdhary, while attacking the Congress government of the state, has said that Panchayat secretaries of about 11,000 panchayats of Chhattisgarh are sitting on a dharna demanding regularization. In the public manifesto of Congress, it was promised to regularize them in 10 days. Today it has been more than 1500 days. The Congress government did not fulfill the promise and is not ready to talk to these agitating panchayat secretaries demanding their rights from the government. The BJP is with the panchayat secretaries in the struggle against the government’s non-promise. State BJP General Secretary OP Chowdhary told the Chief Minister that Panchayat Secretaries in all the 146 development blocks of the state have been sitting on a dharna for 17 days in protest against their one-point demand. Since Panchayat Secretary fellows are the most important link between the common villagers of the village and the government.
That’s why today all the schemes for rural development of every village have come to a standstill due to your breach of promise. You had promised on several forums before the elections that regularization would be done within 10 days after the formation of the Congress government. Today, even in four and a half years, there is no intention to regularize them. The bad effect of breaking promises with the Panchayat employees is affecting the people of rural areas. BJP State General Secretary OP Chowdhary reminded that Panchayat personnel system was started in undivided Madhya Pradesh in 1995 by the Digvijay Singh government in a shameful manner. He was fixed a monthly salary of Rs 500. Which was increased by the BJP government to more than 40 thousand. But the Bhupesh Baghel government of Congress has not done anything in these four and a half years. The promises of the public manifesto have proved to be a vegetable garden. The Chief Minister should immediately fulfill his promise otherwise accept his failure. -

Saudi Arabia, OPEC+ producers announce surprise oil output cuts
DUBAI, April 2 (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia and other OPEC+ oil producers on Sunday announced voluntary cuts to their production amounting to around 1.15 million barrels per day in a surprise move they said was aimed at supporting market stability.
The group had been largely expected to stick to its already agreed 2 million bpd cuts when its ministerial panel, which includes Saudi Arabia and Russia, meets virtually on Monday.
Last October, OPEC+, which comprises the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies led by Russia, agreed output cuts of 2 million bpd from November until the end of the year, angering Washington as tighter supply boosts oil prices.
The U.S. has argued that the world needs lower prices to support economic growth and prevent Russian President Vladimir Putin from earning more revenue to fund the Ukraine war.
Sunday’s unexpected voluntary cuts, which start from May, come in addition to the ones already agreed in October.
Riyadh said it would cut output by 500,000 bpd while Iraq will reduce its production by 211,000 bpd, according to official statements.
The UAE said it would cut production by 144,000 bpd, Kuwait announced a cut of 128,000 bpd while Oman announced a cut of 40,000 bpd and Algeria said it would cut its output by 48,000 bpd. Kazakhstan will also cut output by 78,000 bpd.
Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak also said on Sunday that Moscow would extend a voluntary cut of 500,000 bpd until the end of 2023. Moscow announced those cuts unilaterally in February following the introduction of Western price caps.
After Russia’s unilateral reductions, U.S. officials said its alliance with other OPEC members was weakening, but Sunday’s move shows the cooperation is still strong.
The Saudi energy ministry said in a statement that the kingdom’s voluntary cut was a precautionary measure aimed at supporting the stability of the oil market.
Oil prices fell to 15-month lows earlier this month in response to the banking crisis that followed the collapse of two U.S. lenders and resulted in Credit Suisse being rescued by Switzerland’s biggest bank UBS.
“OPEC is taking pre-emptive steps in case of any possible demand reduction,” Amrita Sen, founder and director of Energy Aspects, said on Sunday.
