A free check-up scheme has been started in the state in the field of health, under which patients are getting 207 types of pathological tests free of cost. CM Dhami took charge after reaching the disaster control room, took information about the damage caused by unseasonal rains

In view of the rains in the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the Disaster Management Center located at the Secretariat on late Friday and reviewed the situation arising out of the rains. He instructed the officers to be alert. The Chief Minister instructed the Secretary Disaster Management to coordinate with all the District Magistrates as well as provide assistance to the District Magistrates on the basis of their needs. He also instructed to speed up the necessary repair of roads in the districts.
The Chief Minister said that necessary arrangements will have to be made on time so that the devotees do not face any kind of health-related difficulties during the upcoming Chardham Yatra. In this regard, he himself has held talks with the Union Health Minister. Full cooperation has also been assured by the Union Health Minister. The Chief Minister has given instructions to the Agriculture Department to assess the loss caused to the farmers due to rains in the state. Whatever help is needed by the farmers will be done.

The Chief Minister has asked the officers to keep an eye on the situation by continuously reviewing the rainfall in Joshimath and other areas. He said that the state needed special preparedness to face disasters. Cake cutter arrested with illegal pistol in Delhi

New Delhi (IANS)| In a video that has gone viral on social media, a 21-year-old man has been arrested from Neb Sarai area of Delhi for cutting a cake with an illegal pistol. In the video, a man is seen blowing the candle and later cutting the cake with a pistol. Crackers were also burst in the area.

The accused has been identified as Aniket alias Anish, a resident of Sangam Vihar.

As per the police records, Aniket has also been found involved in a case registered earlier at Malviya Nagar police station.

Delhi Police tweeted, Taking cognizance of a video viral on social media in which a youth was cutting a cake with a pistol, Delhi Police identified the accused and arrested him from Neb Sarai with Point 315 bore country made pistol and 2 live rounds. Arrested.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary, information was received on Thursday regarding a video on social media in which a criminal is roaming in Sangam Vihar area with illegal weapons.

6 died of suffocation in Delhi

According to authorities, six members of a family died in their Delhi home from suffocation when mosquito repellent dripped on the mattress and released deadly gas overnight. The family resided in North East Delhi’s Shastri Park neighborhood. Once the fire service got a call regarding a fire at about 8.52 am, three fire tenders were dispatched to the property.

Joy Tirkey, DCP North East district, reported that Shastri Park Police Station received a call early on Friday morning reporting a home fire close to Machhi Market on Mazar Wala Road. The wounded had been transported to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital when police arrived on the scene.

According to Tirkey, a burning mosquito coil had apparently spilled over a mattress some point during the night. Inmates lost unconscious as a result of the noxious gases, and subsequently died from asphyxia.

Meanwhile, nine people in all were engaged in the event, two of whom are requiring burn injury treatment, and one was released after receiving first aid. There are four males, a woman, and a toddler among the dead.

Surat: A young man who came to inquire about the well-being of a friend admitted in the hospital brought a bundle of liquor instead of fruit or juice.

A strange incident has happened in Surat. A friend of his had come to the New Civil Hospital to see a patient who was sick with alcohol consumption, but he brought not coconut water or fruits but the sick friend’s favorite drink. However, he did not know that the friend for whom he had brought the country liquor had died two days ago.

According to the information received from the New Civil Hospital, in the morning a young man came to meet his friend Sunil Yadav admitted in the hospital located at Kidney Bhawan. When the security guard searched him, a packet of country liquor was found in his pocket. The name of the person caught with liquor is Raju Male (45 years, resident of Azadnagar, Bhatar).

The security guards and doctors asked him about alcohol and said that his friend Sunil Yadav is admitted here due to illness and is addicted to alcohol. Brought wine for a sick friend. On checking whether a person named Sunil Yadav was actually admitted or not, the records revealed that a patient named Sunil Yadav was admitted on 25th. He died on the 28th. Sunil died due to liver failure due to excessive drinking. Raju had brought country liquor three days back as well. After that today brought liquor for his friend but he did not know that his friend had died. The security guard handed over Raju Male to the Khatodara police.

AHMEDABAD: Disaster resilient infrastructure takes center stage on the second day of the G20 DRR Working Group meeting

The second day of the first Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Working Group meeting mainly discussed Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, Financing for Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Response, Recovery and “Build Better”. Participants explored potential financing models, policy frameworks and principles for resilient infrastructure.

The day began with a side event on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, co-organized by the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Ms. Mami Mizutori, elaborated on UNDRR’s approach to disaster-resilient infrastructure, including the policy framework and principles for resilient infrastructure, and an understanding of how to address nations’ vulnerabilities and capabilities . Mr. Kieran McNamara from the International Energy Agency also spoke about climate impacts in the hydro-power sector and stressed that if resilience is not adopted in time, hydropower could suffer.

Ms. Mrinalini Srivastava, G20 Director of the DRR Working Group, highlighted the critical importance of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction in building resilient and sustainable communities. He emphasized that investing in disaster-resilient infrastructure and adopting a proactive approach to disaster risk reduction can significantly reduce the impact of natural disasters.

India’s strong commitment to disaster risk reduction efforts was demonstrated by hosting the G20 DRR Working Group meeting. The discussion on disaster resilient infrastructure and financing for DRR highlighted the need for increased investment and innovative financing mechanisms to reduce the impact of disasters on vulnerable communities.

The working group meeting enabled the G20 countries to share best practices, discuss challenges, identify opportunities and cooperate in achieving the Sendai Framework for DRR goals. The debate on disaster-resistant infrastructure and financing for DRR has highlighted the need for increased investment and innovative financing mechanisms to reduce the impact of disasters on vulnerable communities.

The G20 DRR Working Group will continue to play an important role in advancing the global disaster risk reduction agenda and promoting the resilience of communities around the world.

Gujarat: Junior clerk exam on April 9, state government will give travel allowance to students

The Junior Clerk exam will be conducted by the Gujarat Panchayat Services Selection Board on 9th April. In-charge president Hasmukh Patel gave information about this by tweeting. Hasmukh Patel tweeted that on 31-03-2023 from 1 pm onwards candidates will be able to download the call letter for Junior Clerk exam. Apart from this, the government will also provide traveling allowance to the candidates. The government will give ST fare of Rs 254 to each candidate. This amount has been given to the commission. After the exam is over, the money will be paid after verifying the bank details and call letter.

ST buses will also have the facility

Hasmukh Patel said in the press conference that this fare will be given to the examinees for the convenience of coming in their own vehicle. The facility of ST buses will also be provided by the government for the candidates. It has been said by the government that the examination centers have been deliberately kept away. However, if any irregularity comes to the notice of anyone, it is requested to bring it to the notice immediately. Voluntary organizations have also been appealed to help the students as much as possible.

30 crore rupees will be spent to conduct this exam

Those candidates who were about to appear in the last examination are appearing in the examination this time. This time the examination will be strictly implemented by the commission. However, students have been asked to be cautious. Last time due to the vigilance of the police, the irregularities in the examination were revealed. This time an appeal has been made to the examinees to be self-aware. 30 crore rupees will be spent for conducting this examination. Preparation to conduct Talati exam on April 30

Kotdwar: Siddharth Rawat got gold medal

Police officer of Pulbhatta police station failed in weapon handling, SSP caught all the flaws in annual inspection

During the annual inspection by the SSP, during the inspection at the police station, all the sub-inspectors, including the station head Pulbhatta, expressed strong displeasure over not handling their weapons properly and failing to connect the opening, on which all the sub-inspectors including police station head Pulbhatta Kamlesh Bhatt were sent to the police station. He was directed to go to the line and undergo arms training for three days.

In addition to this, the constables and head constables appointed at the police station were directed to go to the police line for five days in two shifts for maintenance and training of their weapons, for not handling their weapons properly and failing to connect them.

Sub-Inspector Kirti Bhatt was put on the line for not following the standing order given by the Senior Superintendent of Police in the district.

The Senior Superintendent of Police directed the Station Head to take necessary action in 01 month for the disposal of vehicles and other goods related to the MV Act. Apart from this, the Senior Superintendent of Police took the OR of the sub-inspectors at Pul Bhatta police station and necessary instructions were given for the disposal of the complaints and applications.

On inspection of Thana Pulbhatta, he was directed to prepare a proposal for the renovation work of Thana Pulbhatta and send it to the police headquarters, in which it was directed to make arrangements for the police station chief’s building, barrick, malkhana, mess etc.

The Senior Superintendent of Police held talks with the village watchman and general public at Police Station Pulbhatta and after getting information about their problems, the Police Station President Pulbhatta was directed to solve them as soon as possible. During the inspection, a cash reward of ₹ 300 was announced to the salute guard in-charge sub-inspector Deepa Adhikari and ₹ 200 to the guard.
