The Dhami government of the state has decided to start “Chief Minister’s Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme” to fulfill this dream of the youth. Today the state cabinet has also put its stamp on it. The special feature of the scheme is that the state government will also do the work of grooming youths who are interested in employment abroad. Apart from this, the government will also help in the procedures related to tickets, visa etc. of the selected candidates.
The Chief Minister’s Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme was placed before the cabinet today, which has been approved by the cabinet. It was told that an application has been developed on the ‘Apuni Sarkar Portal’ to create a database related to youth seeking employment abroad. Apart from this, proposals are being invited from organizations working in the field of foreign employment through expression of interest and so far the proposals of many organizations have been received by the government, which are available abroad to the youth in various fields. Willing to work in the state to connect the youth of the state with employment. After discussions with these institutions, in the first phase, work will be done to connect the youth of the state with the employment opportunities available abroad in the fields of nursing and hospitality. It is agreed to be done. For this, it is necessary to impart skill upgradation training to the youth for foreign employment in the domain area as well as training about the language, culture and work rules etc. of the concerned country. Apart from this, cooperation is also proposed in the procedures related to tickets, visa etc. of the selected candidates.
Meeting with Principal of Nursing College has been done
Workshops have been conducted with the principals of all nursing colleges to give information about the employment opportunities available abroad in the field of nursing and they have also assured full cooperation in this regard. Apart from this, discussions have been held in this regard with various institutions providing training in the fields of nursing and hospitality and workshops have been conducted with the youth.
Workshop will be held on 9th May
On coming 9th May, a workshop has also been organized to provide information about employment opportunities available in Elderly Care in Japan for ANM and GNM passed youths from various nursing colleges and screening test of interested youths will be taken in the said workshop itself. Training of selected youth will be started. This training is proposed to be held at Skill Hub Sahaspur.

Dehradun. The Dhami government of the state has taken a big step in the direction of employment generation in the hilly areas of the state. Under this, there is a plan to provide employment to more than one lakh farmers through polyhouses in the state. In the state cabinet meeting held last day, the Dhami government has made its intentions clear by approving the Rs 304 crore scheme for polyhouses.
Chief Minister Dhami is continuously working seriously for how to increase employment opportunities in the hilly areas of the state. He has also shown his commitment through various public forums that on the lines of Himachal Pradesh, agriculture and horticulture should be made a source of employment in the hilly districts of the state. Now in this episode, the state government has taken a big decision regarding the poly house.
Under this, it has been decided to plan for the cultivation of vegetables and flowers in cluster-based small polyhouses (Naturally Ventilated) in the state. Under the scheme of NABARD, Rs 304 crore has been approved by the state cabinet for the establishment of 17648 polyhouses of 100 square meter size based on cluster, in which 70 percent subsidy will be given to the farmers. Under this, about 01 lakh farmers of the state will get direct/indirect means of self-employment as well as increase in their income, which will improve the social and economic level and migration to hilly areas will also decrease. . Along with this, the production of vegetables will increase by 15 percent and the production of flowers by 25 percent.
