During interrogation, the accused picked up a bag containing two crore rupees kept in the office and took the businessman along with them.

    When the car of the accused reached near Somni toll plaza before Rajnandgaon, they dropped the businessman from the car and then fled with the cash. After the incident, the victim Vineet Gupta complained to the Durg police. Taking the matter seriously, SP Shalabh Sinha started the investigation by forming a joint team of Thana Police, Cyber and Crime Police. Police got the location of the accused in Mumbai with technical help. Durg Police with the help of Mumbai Police arrested all the seven accused involved in the cheating incident.

    Jitendra Kumar Dewangan lived in Bade Temri village of Bori police station area. He was coming from the village to Raipur in a bike. While coming from Rajnandgaon towards Durg, as soon as he reached near the petrol pump about 3 km before the toll plaza, a speeding vehicle from behind hit him.

    The collision was so fast that Jitendra jumped along with the bike and hit the culvert. He died on the spot due to a deep head injury. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. After this the relatives were informed. The post-mortem of the dead body has been done on Saturday. Then the relatives have been handed over.

Since January 2023, the accused has been making the teacher a victim of lust by promising to divorce his wife and marry her.

    According to Dhamdha police station in-charge Somesh Singh Baghel, after receiving the complaint of the victim, a rape case was registered against the accused and he was arrested from Utai. The accused raped her for several months at her Tehsil Colony house in Siranbhata. The victim told the police that “the accused had a physical relationship with her on the pretext of marriage and refused to marry.” After this, the teacher complained to the police for justice. The police registered a case of rape against the accused teacher and arrested him and presented him in the court. From here the accused has been sent to jail.

    Although SP Durg had kept this raid confidential, but its information had reached Lalit Kabadi. That’s why he took out the expensive junk from the yard in advance and fled in the night itself. When the police reached Lalit Kabadi’s house, he was not found there. His son is also absconding with him. Durg Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha had formed 40 teams to raid the scrap shops in the district. The team consisted of 14 inspectors and more than 100 jawans, including gazetted officers. Durg SP himself monitored this entire action.
