    Kirandul-Visakhapatnam passenger canceled today, goods train met with an accident

    Dantewada. 6 wagons of goods train have been derailed on KK Rail Line under Eco Railway Division. Due to which the only rail route from Kirandul to Visakhapatnam has been disrupted. Both Kirandul-Visakhapatnam night and passenger trains have been cancelled. Here, railway employees including DRM Anoop Satpathy have reached the spot. Efforts are being made to restore the route. However, the reason for the wagon derailment of the goods train is not known.

    According to information, a goods train carrying iron ore left for Visakhapatnam from Kirandul in Dantewada in Chhattisgarh on Sunday. Meanwhile, 6 wagons of the goods train derailed at Boddavara yard late in the evening. The loco pilot immediately informed the railway officials about this. As soon as the information was received, railway employees from both Koraput and Visakhapatnam reached the spot. Repair work went on throughout the night. However, the reason for the wagon derailment of the goods train is yet to be ascertained.

    Here, the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Night Express train leaving for Kirandul from Visakhapatnam was cancelled. Along with this, the route of the passenger train from Kirandul to Visakhapatnam was diverted. It is being told that the train has reached Visakhapatnam much late than the scheduled time. Railway’s DRM has today issued orders for cancellation of both Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger and Night Express trains on 19th June.

    Raipur. After Odisha, a major train accident in Chhattisgarh was averted. Here the passenger train and goods train had arrived on the same railway track. However, due to the gap between the two trains, the trains were immediately stopped, thereby averting a major accident. Passenger train and goods train had arrived on the same railway track under South East Central Railway Bilaspur zone. The MEMU train and goods train had come on the same track between Jairamnagar in Bilaspur district and Kotmisonar in Janjgir-Champa district. MEMU local train was coming to Korba. This human and technical mistake was rectified in time and both the trains were stopped.

    Fortunately, there was a distance of 150 to 200 meters between the two trains, due to which no major accident took place. As soon as the passengers came to know about this, many passengers got down from the train and started making videos of the incident. Same, when some passengers got down from their train and saw this scene, they kept on thanking God that they averted a big accident in time. The video of this incident is going viral on social media.
