Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel launched Unemployment Allowance Scheme in Chhattisgarh on 1 April. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the youth to take advantage of this ambitious scheme of the government. Under the scheme, unemployment allowance has been approved to 30 thousand applicants within 20 days. Under the scheme, so far 91,049 applications have been received on the unemployment allowance portal and out of these, after document verification, 57,207 people have been recommended for approval of unemployment allowance. According to the announcement of Chief Minister Baghel, the amount of unemployment allowance of Rs 2,500 is being transferred directly to the bank account of the applicants through DBT. The objective of the scheme is to provide an allowance of Rs 2,500 per month to the unemployed and make them employable by giving them skill training.
It is worth mentioning that on the very first day of the launch of Berojgari Bhatta Yojana, on April 1, at 5 pm, 4269 registrations were received in this portal. The youth say that the help of Rs 2500 per month from the state government will be very helpful in solving the financial difficulties coming in the way of making their career. During the launch program of the scheme, the beneficiaries who got the unemployment allowance approval order from the hands of the Chief Minister were looking very happy, they had applied for unemployment allowance on April 1 itself and their application was also approved on the same day. It is worth mentioning that the scheme implemented at present is much more successful than the unemployment allowance scheme operated earlier. In the Unemployment Allowance Scheme which was closed in the year 2015, unemployment allowance was sanctioned only to a maximum of 22 thousand applicants, while under the new scheme, allowance of 30 thousand applicants has been sanctioned in the first 20 days itself.
Unemployment allowance portal is open 24 hours a day, seven days
The portal of unemployment allowance scheme https://berojgaribhatta-cg-nic-in01 has been started for applicants from April 2023 morning. A large number of applications are being applied by the applicants on this portal since day one. Applicants say that it is very easy to apply through the portal, in which they are also uploading all the necessary documents, there is no inconvenience in this work. No last date has been set for applying for unemployment allowance scheme, nor has the time for opening or closing of the portal been fixed. The portal is open 24 hours on all days, applicants can apply on this portal anytime as per their convenience.
The applicant of Berojgari Bhatta Yojana must be a native of Chhattisgarh. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 35 years as on 1st April of the year of applying for the scheme. The applicant must have passed at least Higher Secondary i.e. 12th standard from a recognized board. Along with this, should be registered in any district employment and self-employment guidance center of Chhattisgarh and his employment registration should be at least two years old with Higher Secondary or above qualification as on 1st April of the year of application. The applicant should not have any source of income of his own and the annual income of the applicant’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh. Income certificate issued by Tehsildar or higher revenue officer for family income should be made within 1 year from the date of application for unemployment allowance.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually launched the Chhattisgarhi Parab Samman Nidhi 2023 scheme. Its benefit will be given to 06 thousand 111 gram panchayats of 61 development blocks of the state. At the same time, the scheme will be implemented in all 551 gram panchayats of the district. It is known that this scheme has been implemented with the aim of saving the cultural festivals and traditions of the state.
Under this, an amount of Rs 10-10 thousand will be provided to each gram panchayat in two instalments. While congratulating the people of the state in the virtual inauguration programme, the Chief Minister talked about saving the traditional festivals and festivals and cultural heritage of the state, as well as highlighted the purpose of the scheme. In the virtual inauguration program organized from 12.00 noon, Collector Nileshkumar Kshirsagar, District Panchayat CEO S. Alok and local panchayat representatives participated in the collectorate meeting hall at the district level. Police crackdown on sex racketeers, three spa centers sealed
The police has once again raided the spa centers of Surguja district headquarters Ambikapur. Due to the apprehension of unethical work, the police has raided Kotwali police station and Gandhinagar police station area and got three spa centers closed. The police has also written a letter to the corporation and labor department for investigation. In fact, the special police team conducted surprise checks at a spa center in Gandhinagar and two spa centers under Police Station Kotwali. These spa centers could not produce any valid license in respect of spa.
The police instructed the operators to temporarily close the spa centers and gave statutory notices to the spa operators for non-compliance of the rules under the Sexual Exploitation of Women Act. In-depth inquiries were made and guidelines were given to the women employees to submit valid documents. In case of not having a valid license in relation to the operation of the spa center, advance legal action has been informed to the Labor Department and the Municipal Corporation.
