    HMDA allots land to ORR affected families

    Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Saturday allotted plots through lottery to the affected families who lost their lands during the construction of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) project. Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited Project CGM Majid Hussain, ORR project (R&R) special officer VVictor, Tahsildar M Bikshapati allotted plots to 33 people and handed over the documents to the beneficiaries. Plots were allotted to 33 beneficiaries in a layout developed for R&R victims of about 100 acres in survey number 507 under Koheda village of Rangareddy district on Saturday through lottery.

    Out of these, 20 plots with an area of 100 yards, 10 plots with an area of 150 yards, one plot of 200 yards, one plot of 250 yards and one plot of 300 yards have been allotted a total of 33 plots and they have been handed over allotment letters. Hyderabad Growth Corridor DGMs Ramesh, Ravinder, Sanjay, Deputy Tehsildar Salimuddin and others participated in this programme.

    HMDA set to auction over 200 open plots in Hyderabad

    Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is all set to conduct an e-auction of 218 open plots on May 22, 23, and 24. The plots are free from litigation and have good road connectivity. In addition, infrastructural works related to internal roads and street lights will be completed in 18 months.

    The auction has set different upset prices based on the location. For the open plots at Bachupally, outskirts of Hyderabad, the price is Rs. 25000 per square yard whereas, for plots at Medipally, it is Rs. 32000 per square yard.

    Registration for e-auction
    The sizes of the open plots in Hyderabad vary. At Bachupally, the size is 265-576 square yards whereas, at Medipally, the size is 230-643 sq. yards.

    Registration for the e-auction of plots in Medipally and Bachupally can be done on the HMDA website (click here). The EMD amount for plots at both places is Rs 1, 00, 000. For site visits of HMDA plots and queries, cellphone numbers 7396345623 or 9154843213 can be dialed.

    HMDA demolishes illegal structures in Shamshabad

    Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority demolished a large number of temporary structures that were erected illegally on government land spread over an area of 50-acres at Shamshabad on Tuesday.

    Senior HMDA officials said that some unknown persons tried to encroach on government lands in Shamshabad by raising the temporary structures. The HMDA took the assistance of Cyberabad police and demolished all the encroachments by deploying heavy machinery (JCB).

    “The operation to remove the encroachments, which had mushroomed at Shamshabad, was conducted between 3 am and 8 am on Tuesday morning. We were able to pull down all the temporary structures and saved 50-acres of Government land from encroachment,” HMDA in a press release, said.
