    Jharkhand. In Khunti, the husband committed suicide after killing his wife. The case pertains to Rowauli village located in Kevda Panchayat under Murhu police station area of Khunti district. In a domestic dispute here, 55-year-old Soma Hassa Purti hacked his wife, 50-year-old Bigan Hapadgada, to death with a shovel. After killing his wife, Soma committed suicide by hanging himself from a jackfruit tree. Villagers told that there used to be frequent disputes between the couple. It is being told that the village of Khunti where this incident took place is situated in a very remote area. Mobile network also does not work in the village, so there was a delay in informing the police. Sensation spread in the village regarding the incident. The Police is investigating.

    It is said that there were frequent quarrels between the couple. At the time of the incident, Hassa Purti had left with his wife to go to his in-laws’ village, Konseya. On the way there was a fight between the two and both returned to the village. But about 100 meters before the village, near his farm, Soma hacked his wife with a spade, killing her on the spot. After the death of his wife, Soma went home and hanged himself on a jackfruit tree with a plastic rope. An hour after the incident, the cousin of the deceased informed the villagers after seeing both the bodies. On Monday morning, after holding a meeting, the villagers informed the police about the incident after finding a mobile network. After this, SI Digambar Pandey of Murhu police station reached the spot along with the armed forces.

    At the same time, the postmortem of both the dead bodies was done and handed over to the relatives. The deceased couple has six daughters and two sons. Three daughters are married. SDPO Amit Kumar told that the case is being investigated by registering an FIR at Murhu police station.

Immediately after this, the husband got angry and attacked the wife with a cricket bat. After attacking, the husband hanged himself at home.

    There was a dispute between Gopal Mandavi resident of Kanhargaon and his wife Yashoda Mandavi at 11 am on Thursday. After this, husband Gopal got angry and hit wife Yashoda’s head several times with a cricket bat. Wife Yashoda was badly injured by this. After fatally attacking his wife, husband Gopal hanged himself in his own house.

    At the time when the incident took place, a 4-year-old girl was present at the house, who informed the people around the incident. The villagers immediately called 108 after reaching the spot. After this, the driver and EMT of Sanjeevani 108 reached the spot and took the injured woman to Dhaudai Primary Health Center. After first aid, the woman was referred to the district hospital for better treatment. According to Dr. Rashmi Thakur of Dhaudai Primary Health Center, the woman has suffered a serious head injury and is in a coma. The district hospital has been referred for better treatment. As soon as the Dhaudai police got the information, they reached the spot and are busy in the investigation.

    Hyderabad: A 50-year-old marketing executive was arrested for strangulating his wife over an argument here on Tuesday at Old Bowenpally in Secunderabad.

    The accused, K Laxman, a resident of Friends colony was married to 49-year-old Kumarri Beena alias Bibiyana in 1994. DCP North zone, Hyderabad, Chandana Deepthi said Beena often quarrelled with her house owners as a result of which the couple frequently shifted houses.

    “Laxman used to support Beena in household chores. However, her frequent fights troubled him,” the senior officer said. On Tuesday, Laxman strangulated Beena using an electric wire. He left the house leaving the body on the spot.

    Laxman was arrested within one hour of committing the crime. He was produced before the court, the DCP said.

    Shimla, 21 March. A woman committed suicide by hanging herself with a three-year-old girl. The policemen were also surprised to see the innocent hanging. The incident is of Kumarsen of Rampur sub-division of Shimla Shimla district. The woman has taken this dreadful step after being scolded by her husband.

    According to the information received from the police, Noor Bahadur of Nepali origin is living in a rented house in a village in Kumarsen with his wife Bimla (20) and three-year-old girl Monika. Noor Bahadur works as a laborer. Last evening he had an argument with his wife Bimla over some issue and Noor Bahadur scolded Bimla. After this, Bimla left the house with her daughter in anger. In the morning, the dead bodies of Bimla and daughter were found hanging on a noose in the nearby apple orchard. The owner of the garden informed the police after seeing the dead bodies of mother and daughter together on the noose.

    Confirming this, Rampur DSP Chandrashekhar said on Tuesday that prima facie it has been found to be a case of suicide. No suicide note has been found in this case. He said that investigation is going on in the matter. The police is taking its investigation forward considering all aspects.
