In which the State Tax and Excise Department has recovered a huge consignment of illegal liquor from two Kariana stores under a special campaign.

Under which two different shops were raided at the same time in Sabzimandi area of Baddi. In which a large quantity of foreign liquor was recovered. Confirming the case, Deputy Commissioner of State Tax and Excise Department Pritpal Singh said that among the recovered liquor, there are 15 bottles of beer, 9 half and 22 pavves of Imperial Blue, 8 bottles, 29 half and 53 pavves of country liquor Orange. Deputy Commissioner of State Tax and Excise Department Preetpal Singh was leading the team.}

    The team included Prem Kayath, Naval Chandra, Arshi Sharma, Ajay Nair, Naman Gautam, Suraj Panwar, Poonam Parmar, Jitender Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar and Gurcharan Singh. Action has been initiated against the accused by registering a case under the Excise and Taxation Act at Baddi police station.

    Medininagar, 21 March. Illegal liquor loaded in a truck was seized just five hundred meters away from Vishrampur police station in the district. Inspector of Excise Department Sanjay Kumar told on Tuesday that information was received that illegal liquor was loaded in a truck near Vishrampur police station. On the basis of information the truck was seized.

    In the search of the truck, about 500 boxes of illicit liquor, worth about Rs 50 lakhs, have been recovered by hiding it in sacks of rice. Truck driver Pappu Ram has been arrested. There was a preparation to take illegal liquor from Gurdaspur in Punjab via Palamu to Bihar. But, the truck driver Pappu Ram lost his way and Pandu went away. While returning, the truck got stuck in a drain at a distance of 500 meters from Bishrampur police station. The arrested driver is a resident of Barmer district of Rajasthan. Illegal liquor businessman Sandeep Kumar is being told, through which liquor was being sent to Bihar. Police is investigating the matter.
