    Two Scooterists Try To Rob Iron Trader At Gunpoint, Fail

    Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two scooterists tried to rob an iron trader at gunpoint in the Juni Indore area on Monday night. The trader refused to give the bag containing cash and when he tried to fight the accused, they managed to flee, leaving the fake pistol on the spot. The police have recovered the pistol and started a search for the accused.

    According to Juni Indore police station in-charge Neeraj Meda, trader Hatim Ali Rangwala has lodged a complaint that he was returning home from his shop on his bike when two youths came on a scooter and stopped him in Veer Sawarkar Nagar and pointed a pistol towards him. They told him to give the bag containing money. The accused tried to snatch the bag from Rangwala but he held on to the bag. When he tried to fight with them, the accused fled from there with the pistol. The police reached the spot and recovered the pistol from the spot.

    The police said that the firearm was fake and the accused were carrying it to threaten the people and to rob them. A case under the relevant section has been registered against the accused and the CCTVs of the area are being examined to identify them.

The case is of Mhow village near Indore, where mourning has enveloped the house in which clarinet of marriage was being played 18 days ago. Questions are being raised that what happened between husband and wife within just 18 days that the husband killed his wife by stabbing her. Not only this, after the murder, the husband also injured himself. The police got information about the murder, immediately the police reached the spot and sent the dead body of the newly married woman to the hospital for postmortem and admitted the murdered husband to the hospital for treatment.

    Giving information, Rural SP Hitika Vasle said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the husband did not want to get married, although the police is closely trying to find out the reasons for the murder, at present the police is focusing on the treatment of the husband. After his statement, the investigation will proceed further. On the other hand, this case of brutally killing the wife by the husband only after 18 days of marriage created a sensation in the area, now the real reason for the murder is expected to come out only after the investigation of the police, the accused husband will be sent for treatment. Indore’s MY Hospital has been admitted.

    Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal’ to visit Ujjain, Indore as part of 4-day official trip to India

    Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka ‘Prachanda’ is all set to visit Ujjain and Indore in Madhya Pradesh as a part of his 4-day official visit to India next week, the Ministry of External Affairs said.

    Dahal, who assumed office in December last year, is set to begin his India visit from May 31-June 3 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

    During the visit, the Prime Minister of Nepal will call on President Droupadi Murmu and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

    In addition to the official engagements, the Prime Minister of Nepal will also be visiting Ujjain and Indore as part of his visit, according to the official release of MEA.

    A high-level delegation will accompany Nepal PM Dahal during his visit.PM Dahal will also hold extensive talks with Prime Minister Modi to discuss the diverse areas of the bilateral partnership between India and Nepal, the Ministry of External Affairs said in an official statement.

    Other Indian dignitaries will call on the Prime Minister of Nepal as well.

    The visit continues the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Nepal in furtherance of the ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy.

    The bilateral relations between the two countries have significantly strengthened in the last few years in all areas of cooperation.

    This visit demonstrates the importance that both sides place on accelerating the bilateral partnership between the two nations. (ANI)

    Bhopal: A woman and a man belonging to different religions, were manhandled by a mob while leaving a hotel in Indore after having dinner, police said.

    A viral video of the incident which took place on Friday night shows the group of about 20 people surrounding the two and asking the Muslim girl why she having dinner with a Hindu man.

    The girl is seen requesting with joined hands to let them go, while one person from the mob lectures the two on Islam.

    “When the woman and man came out of the hotel after having food, the mob chased and surrounded them and questioned the woman about why she was in the company of a man from a different faith,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Raghuvanshi said.

    According to Raghuvanshi, the woman told the mob that she had informed her parents about the dinner.

    Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Come June 1, and Indore will get air-connectivity with Nashik. IndiGo, a leading airline has announced to roll-out the flight for Nashik.

    Currently, Nashik is connected with the city only by road route. There is no rail and air connectivity. For the first time, a direct flight is going to start between Indore and Nashik from June 1. The ticket booking has also started.

    Nashik will be the fifth city of Maharashtra to be connected by flights from the city. The other cities are Mumbai Pune, Nagpur and Shirdi. This will provide a lot of convenience to passengers.

    Sources on Monday said that Nashik-Indore-Nashik flight E-7109/7108) will depart from Nashik daily at 12.50 pm and arrive to the city at 2.10 pm. The return flight will depart from the city at 1.15 pm and reach Nashik at 2.25 pm. The airline has deployed a 72-seater ATR aircraft. The starting fare is likely to be between Rs 3,100 and Rs 3,600.

    Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Three persons, including a woman, were arrested for supplying drugs in Rajendra Nagar on Friday. Police seized brown sugar worth Rs 1 lakh from their possesion.

    Acting on a tip off, the joint team of the crime branch and the Rajendra Nagar police caught three persons named Suresh Rathore, Vicky Malviya and Poonam Malviya from near water tank in Rajendra Nagar area. During a search, more than 12 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 1 lakh were recovered from the accused.

    A bike was also recovered from the accused. They are being questioned regarding their source of the drugs and the person whom they were going to deliver the drugs to.

    Indore : A carpenter died after falling from the 11th floor of a residential building in the Tukoganj police station jurisdiction on Sunday afternoon. He was working in a flat when he lost balance and fell from the height. The police have sent the body for the autopsy and informed his family members about the incident.

    Investigating officer ASI Rakesh Kumar Parihar from the Tukoganj police station said that the deceased has been identified as Jogaram (27), a resident of Rajasthan. He was a carpenter and was making furniture in a flat on the 11th floor in Kalpataru Building.

    According to Parihar, Jogaram was sitting near the edge of the balcony when he lost control due to a sudden gust of wind and fell down. He died on the spot. The residents informed the police.

    Police said the deceased had recently come to the city. Investigation is on to know the exact circumstances behind the incident and the CCTVs of the area being examined by the police.

    Indore : Lasudia police on Sunday arrested two youths for thrashing the son of an ex-minister and damaging his SUV’s windscreen. One of their accomplices is on the run and the police are searching for him.

    Lasudia police station in-charge Santosh Dudhi said that Yashwardhan Singh Kirad, the son of ex-minister Ranjana Baghel, was beaten by three persons named Shobhit, Vaibhav and Raghav in Scheme Number 78 on April 21. Yashwardhan was in a vehicle and the accused had stopped him alleging that he was driving recklessly.

    The accused were carrying a cricket bat with which they thrashed Yashwardhan and they also abused him. The accused also damaged the windscreen of Yashwardhan’s vehicle.

    The arrested accused were produced before the court of ACP Vijay Nagar from where they were sent to jail. Their accomplice named Vaibhav was on the run till the filing of the report.

    Bhopal (IANS) | A 12-year-old boy was allegedly stripped naked and forced to chant religious slogans in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. A senior police officer said on Friday that the accused, who is a minor and known to the victim, has been taken into custody.

    According to the police, the matter came to light late on Thursday night after the video of the incident surfaced on social media. The victim was playing near Star Square when one of the accused approached him and took him to another place.

    The victim told the police that another boy joined them when they reached near a flyover in Mahalaxmi Nagar area. Both forced him to chant religious slogans. They allegedly thrashed him and made him strip.

    He somehow escaped from there and narrated the whole incident to his parents. After this, the family took him to the nearby police station and lodged a complaint on Thursday.

    Police said, the accused and the victim were known to each other. We have taken the accused into custody and booked them under relevant IPC sections. We have also requested people not to make the video of the incident viral on social media, as both the accused and the victim are minors. Police is trying to find out what made the accused do this.

    A senior police officer told IANS that the investigation into the matter is on.
