    Four killed, 8 injured as vehicle falls into gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri

    Jammu (IANS). Four people were killed and eight others were injured when a vehicle fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Wednesday morning.

    According to police sources, the driver of a vehicle carrying passengers lost control and fell into a deep gorge at Thanamandi in Rajouri district.

    “Out of the 12 passengers, three died on the spot, while one succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Eight injured are undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital, Rajouri,” sources said.

    Three blind brothers killed in house collapse in Jammu and Kashmir

    Jammu (IANS) | Three visually impaired brothers were killed in a house collapse in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Saturday. The tragic incident took place in Pullar village of Nagseni tehsil in the morning, officials said.

    The mother and sister of the victims have been rescued, he said.

    The victims have been identified as Rajesh Kumar (30), Ravinder Kumar (32) and Sajan Kumar (28), officials said.

    Four soldiers died due to fire in army vehicle

    Jammu (IANS) | Four army personnel were killed when an army vehicle caught fire on the National Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Thursday. The vehicle caught fire in Bhatadhurian area of Poonch district. The cause of the fire is yet to be known. Official confirmation from the Army is awaited.
