The woman has accused the district administration of giving protection to those distributing expired medicines instead of taking action against them, and has talked about continuing the hunger strike until strict action is taken against those distributing expired medicines. The Akaltara MLA has supported the woman’s allegation and demand and has said to take up the matter in the upcoming assembly session.     Last evening, 6 children, 4 women and 4 men were boating in two boats at Shivrinarayan in Janjgir district. Then suddenly a storm started. At this time the boat was in the middle of the river. Due to the storm, it was difficult to take the boat to the shore and due to the strong current of wind, the balance of the boat started to waver. On which both the sailors, showing understanding, took the boats to a nearby island. After reaching the island, the tourists called their acquaintances to inform about it. After which its information reached the administration. Then Collector Richa Prakash Chaudhary and SP Vijay Aggarwal engaged the SDRF team for rescue. Local fishermen also assisted in the rescue and by late night all 14 tourists were safely evacuated.

    According to the information, Mudpar, a resident of Dwasa Bai Dhivar, lodged a report at Chowki Naila on April 14 that his son Vishesh Dhivar was missing from the house since April 13. No one was found on searching around. On the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case under Section 363 Bhadvi.

    During the investigation, on April 13, the dead body of a child was found floating in the well adjacent to the fence of the deceased’s house. The dead child’s leg was tied with wire and stone, on which the post-mortem action was taken. Discussion was done by adding sections 302, 201, 34. On the basis of suspicion, the police detained the deceased’s mother Dwasa Bai Dhivar and uncle Raju Dhivar and interrogated them psychologically. Strictly inquired that the father of the deceased is serving sentence in Bilaspur Jail since 2008 in a murder case. During this time there was a love affair between Dwasa Bai Dhivar and brother-in-law Raju Dhivar. On April 13, both of them came back home from Tilai’s bank and later the boy Vishesh Dhiwar saw both of them in an objectionable position. In relation to the incident, the boy went to the jail and said that he will tell his father. Fearing this, accused Raju Dhivar killed his nephew by strangulation and mouth. After this, the dead body was thrown into the well by tying the leg of the deceased with a wire and stone kept in the bari. The police arrested both of them and is taking further action against them.

    According to the information, the shopkeeper was selling chaat by setting up a chaat cart at the main gate of Crocodile Park located in Kotmi Sonar. Gas was leaking from its cylinder. Then suddenly a fire broke out in the cylinder, which spread all over the handcart. Somehow the shopkeepers and people saved their lives by running away from there. People immediately called the fire brigade. Here the fire also engulfed two more carts nearby, due to which the situation became uncontrollable.

    As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade reached and controlled the fire. There has been no loss of life in the fire. Although the handcart has been burnt to ashes. Everything kept on it has also been burnt. Police also reached the spot. At present, further action is being taken.
