Jashpur. In Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, mischievous elements set fire to the forest late at night. The fire was so fierce that many trees and plants were burnt to ashes. This case pertains to Bhelwa village of Tapkara Forest Circle. According to the information received, some mischievous elements set fire to the forest of Tapkara late in the night. The flames spread up to a radius of one kilometre, causing damage to a lot of vegetation and wildlife. The villagers informed the forest department about this. After this the Forest Department team brought the fire under control.

5 people injured after auto overturned, accident happened while returning from wedding ceremony
Jashpur. Seven people have been seriously injured in two separate accidents in the garden. One died there. Both the accidents happened while returning from Durgapara’s wedding ceremony. In which in the first incident, 5 people were injured due to overturning of an auto. In the second incident, two bikes collided strongly, in which one died tragically and two were seriously injured.
All the injured have been referred to Ambikapur after first aid at Garden Hospital.

Drunken fell from pickup, died in the middle of the road
Jashpur. The dead body of a person has been found in the City Kotwali area of the district. The man, identified as Asmalal Munda (50 years), fell from the speeding pickup while returning from a wedding ceremony and died on the spot. Here the pickup driver did not know about his fall and went ahead. The case is of City Kotwali area.
According to the information, the dead body of a person was lying near village Dhauthatoli on Gumla-Katni National Highway-43 in Lodam Chowki area. People informed the police about it. Police reached the spot and started investigation. For the identity of the dead person, the police was questioning the people around, but nothing could be known. The man was wearing black pants, a red shirt and a white gamcha tied around his neck, and his clothes were stained with turmeric, leading the police to speculate that he might have been returning from a wedding ceremony.
On this basis, when the police started investigation, it was found that the name of the deceased is Asmalal Munda (50 years), who was a resident of village Tikaitganj. He had gone to his relative’s place to attend the wedding ceremony. On Monday he drank heavily at the function. After this, in the early hours of Tuesday, he came out saying that he was going to his village, although he was intoxicated, due to which the family had forbidden him to return in such a condition, but he did not agree.
