Tired of the case, the young man committed suicide by hanging
Jashpur. Fed up with the case, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself last night in Bahnatangar of Pathalgaon police station area of the district. After which the police has sent the dead body to the PM after setting up the marg panchnama. The police is investigating the case . According to the information received from the relatives, Maryanush Lakda, a resident of Bahanatangar village, committed suicide by hanging himself near a distant pond.
It was told by relatives and other people that the deceased Naveen had gone to jail regarding an old case, whereas after being released from jail, he used to remain under tension. Due to being in a stressful situation, he started consuming alcohol. Last night he hanged himself by hanging a sardine noose in a mango tree located away from his house. In the morning, when the villagers saw the hanging dead body of the young man, they informed the Pathalgaon police, after which the police reached the spot after getting the information and handed over the dead body to the relatives. According to eyewitnesses, there was a mark of injury on Naveen’s leg. However, the police said that the injury marks were from earlier. There is a scar on the leg due to the fall. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation in the matter.

Rape in birthday party, BJP leader arrested
Jashpur. The case of rape of a Korva woman has come to the fore in the birthday party going on at the BJP leader’s house. There was so much brutality in the party going on at the BJP leader’s house that the woman was raped till she fainted and after that the woman was left naked in the forest. Early in the morning, when the women going to work in MNREGA saw the victim, they informed the victim’s family members, after which they brought the victim to their house and complained about the whole matter to the police.
At first, the police did not take the matter seriously, but as the matter spread in the political corridors, and after the orders of the higher officials of the police, the accused BJP leader and former district member of Samarbahar, Saryu Paikra, has been arrested at Bagicha police station. Woman slipped inside the house, died on the spot
Jashpur. It is said that when death comes, no one can stop it, it comes anyway. In Sulesa village of Pandrapath police post area of the district, a woman’s feet slipped inside her house. After slipping her foot, she fell on the ballast and boulder kept on the ground and she died after a while.
Pandra Path police post said that the woman died after hitting a stone. Her feet had slipped while walking and she slipped and fell on the stone. Her nose was badly hurt. She died after half an hour. The post-mortem of the woman’s body has been done, the post-mortem report is yet to come.

Tractor driver arrested, bike rider died due to accident

5 people injured after auto overturned, accident happened while returning from wedding ceremony
Jashpur. Seven people have been seriously injured in two separate accidents in the garden. One died there. Both the accidents happened while returning from Durgapara’s wedding ceremony. In which in the first incident, 5 people were injured due to overturning of an auto. In the second incident, two bikes collided strongly, in which one died tragically and two were seriously injured.
All the injured have been referred to Ambikapur after first aid at Garden Hospital.

Elephant crushed 60 year old man
Jashpur. A 60-year-old man died due to an elephant attack in Kunkuri’s Kotiya forest. Elderly Ratu Ram Yadav had gone to the forest to collect a piece of branch. Then suddenly he came face to face with the elephant. The elephant attacked and killed the old man. On the information of the incident, the forest staff reached the spot and started taking further action. Wild elephants damaged two houses on Wednesday night in Gotia village of Kunkuri district. Then on Thursday morning an elephant has also taken the life of an elderly person. The incident is being told around 11 am. The family of the deceased has been given an assistance of 50 thousand from the government.
Kunkuri MLA UD Minj said, “The incident is very sad. The elephant was reported to be in the forest. But the elders could not hear the information due to hearing loss. By mistake, they went towards the forest to collect some leaves and dung beetles.
