    Kanker. On Wednesday, a woman died after giving birth in a private hospital in Kanker, after which the relatives created a ruckus in the hospital, accusing the doctor of negligence. The police somehow pacified the people and sent the woman’s body for postmortem.

    Nargis Bano of MG ward of Kanker is 24 years old. She was admitted to a private hospital in the city for delivery at 5 pm on Tuesday. Late in the night at around 3 o’clock, the doctor was called when the woman had labor pains. In some time the woman gave birth to a child. Shortly after giving birth to the child, the health of the woman started deteriorating and she died. As soon as the relatives got the news of the woman’s death, they created a ruckus. The relatives vandalized the hospital fiercely. The family members also had a scuffle with the doctor.
