The police have done the postmortem of the dead body and handed it over to the family members.

    In a road accident at Makadi Singarbhat road under construction of National Highway 30, a youth resident of Subhash Ward of the city died after being hit by an unknown vehicle. Ankit Sahu, a 19-year-old youth resident of Subhashward, had gone to attend a marriage function organized at the old community hall in Manjhapara. After returning from the marriage ceremony, the young man along with his friends went to Imlipara Housing Board Colony via the bypass route after having dinner at Makadi Dhaba. Meanwhile, he stopped at the bridge on the road to smoke with his friends. Meanwhile, Ankit took his friend Sagar’s scooty and went towards the bypass road, saying that he would be coming in a while.

    Kotwali police station in-charge Sharad Dubey told that a scooty rider died due to the collision of an unknown vehicle on the bypass road.
