Many cattle died in the farm, died due to high tension wire

Kawardha. In the district, 5 cattle and an eagle died after coming under the grip of high tension wire. After the incident, the villagers reached the spot and informed the police about the incident. After reaching the spot, the police stopped the supply of electricity and the cattle were removed from the field. At present, the police is tracing the owner of the cattle. After which postmortem of the cattle will be done and they will be buried. The incident is of Agari Khar under Dashrangpur Chowki of Kabirdham.

It is being told that 11 KV high tension wire has been lost from the field, which was lying on the ground after breaking since morning. The cattle went near the wire while grazing and got caught in it. He died on the spot due to electrocution. It is a matter of honor that no one went near there, otherwise a big incident could have happened.

The villagers told that the department is running its arbitrariness in the area. Every day the power supply is stopped without any reason. At the same time, maintenance work is not done for hours or two days in case of any fault. If the electricity department would have detected the fault as soon as it appeared and carried out maintenance, then perhaps the innocent cattle would not have lost their lives.
