Kejriwal has lost his mental balance – Sudhanshu Trivedi

New Delhi (IANS)| The political tussle and rhetoric between Arvind Kejriwal and the BJP regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree continues.

Accusing Kejriwal of faking the degree issue to hide his corruption, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi has said that Kejriwal has lost his mental balance and has gone completely insane. Don’t know what they are saying in reverse. Coming to the inferiority of the language and getting reprimanded from the court. Trivedi said that the kind of language, language style and body language used by Kejriwal is of the lowest level.

Talking to the media at the BJP national headquarters, the party’s national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the comments made by the CBI court yesterday while rejecting the bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia are now coming out with facts. That not only Manish Sisodia but other people of Aam Aadmi Party were also responsible for influencing liquor policy through corruption. That’s why they created a farce to hide the matter of corruption and raised the matter of Prime Minister Modi’s degree whereas in reality this matter is not of Prime Minister’s degree but of Arvind Kejriwal’s corruption. He has once again been reprimanded by the court (High Court) in Gujarat regarding this issue. Even before this, he has been scolded by the court many times on many subjects, has apologized. He said that going to the court to seek the fact which is in the public domain, which is on the university’s website, is a waste of court’s time and a misuse of constitutional rules.

Accusing Kejriwal of going back on his words and his oath, the BJP spokesperson sarcastically said that Kejriwal is certainly educated but does not write on any file, but gets others to write so that that person gets trapped. He further said that the opposition parties are crossing all limits of insult and contempt of democracy and judicial system in India.

Ahmedabad: PM Modi need not declare degrees, Gujarat High Court fines Kejriwal

The Gujarat High Court on Friday said in a judgment that there is no need for the Prime Minister’s Office to announce the graduation and post-graduation degrees of Prime Minister Modi. Not only this, the High Court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the petition filed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, calling it frivolous and misleading. Kejriwal had asked for the details of PM Modi’s degree certificate.

    Instructions given to CM Kejriwal

CM Kejriwal has now been directed to deposit the amount of this fine in the State Legal Services Department of Gujarat State. Significantly, the CIC of India had issued an order directing the Public Information Officer (PIO) of the PMO and the PIOs of Gujarat University and Delhi University to disclose the details of PM Modi’s undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Now the Single Bench of Justice Biren Vaishnav in the Gujarat High Court has set aside the CIC order.

Punjab Govt Not Afraid Of Taking Strict Measures To Curb Criminal Activities: Kejriwal

AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said the Punjab government was not afraid of taking stringent measures to curb criminal activities in the state.

His comments came after Punjab Police launched a major crackdown against radical preacher Amritpal Singh and members of his outfit Waris Punjab De’.

When we came to power in Punjab, people said they (AAP) can work in the fields of education, health and power, but handling law and order situation will be tough. The system we inherited from previous governments showed that criminals and gangsters were provided political protection. But our government is an honest one. We are taking strict action against such elements,” Kejriwal said.

He said the strict action against criminals taken by the Punjab government has shown that the AAP is a hardcore patriotic party.

“I thank people for their support,” Kejriwal said and congratulated his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann for the crackdown.

Police in Punjab on Saturday had launched a massive manhunt against Singh and members of his outfit. The preacher, however, gave the police a slip and escaped their dragnet when his cavalcade was intercepted in Jalandhar district.

In his reaction to the police action, Mann said he received several calls from people praising his government.

“People are telling me, you have done a good job. There should be peace and harmony in Punjab and in this matter, we will support you,” he said in a video message.

‘Please don’t stall Delhi budget’, Kejriwal writes to PM

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday requesting him to “not stop Delhi’s budget”, amid a row between the Centre and the AAP dispensation in the national capital over the issue.

The presentation of the Delhi government’s Budget for 2023-24, which was scheduled for Tuesday, has been put on hold with the Kejriwal dispensation and the central government trading charges over allocations under various heads.

“This is the first in the last 75 years that a state’s budget has been stalled. Why are you upset with Delhiites? Please don’t stall Delhi’s budget. With folded hands, Delhiites urge you to pass their budget,” the chief minister said in the letter.

Speaking at a News18 programme on Monday, Kejriwal charged that the Centre was resorting to “gundagardi” and said it was the first time
