    Kondagaon. Continuous inspection of medical stores is being done by the Food and Drug Administration team as per the instructions of collector Deepak Soni for quality check of medicines and maintenance of purchase and sale documents as per rules. For which, under the guidance of Deputy Director Food and Drug Administration Dr. RK Singh, a surprise inspection of the Shantihari Medical Store operated in Borgaon was conducted by the Department of Medicine. During the inspection, all the necessary documents were checked for running the medical store. Irregularities were found under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and Rules 1945 in the inspection of the medical store by the drug inspector. Bill book and Schedule H-1 register were not maintained in the firm as per rules. The pharmacist was also found absent on the spot. For which a show cause notice was issued to the operator of the firm, but the reply of the operator of the firm was not satisfactory, the Drug Licensing Authority has suspended the drug license of the firm for seven days considering this act as serious negligence.

    Similarly, samples of Sitagliptin used in the treatment of diabetes from Siddhi Vinayak Medical Stores operated in Kondagaon city were sent to the State Drug Testing Laboratory, Raipur for quality testing. On the other hand, 02 medical stores Shri Krishna Medical Stores Dhanora and Chhattisgarh Medicos Makdi were found to have irregularities in the inspection and the drug license of the firm has been suspended for seven-seven days after the reply to the show cause notice was not found satisfactory. During this, Drug Inspector Sukhchoun Singh Dhurve told that all the medical operators should be given purchase and sale documents and Schedule H-1 register by the drug department, according to the rules, and drugs like narcotics and psychotropic drugs, MTP kits, without the prescription of a registered doctor. Instructions have been given not to sell.

    Kondagaon. There has been a lot of negligence on the part of the doctors during delivery in the district hospital. Even bigger than this negligence is that the matter was kept hidden from the family members for 3 days. In fact, on Tuesday, a delivery was done through cesarean operation in the district hospital. During this delivery, the hand of the newborn girl was broken, but the incident was kept hidden from the relatives till Friday evening. Dr. Rita Gedam, who delivered, says that sometimes during the complicated delivery process, there are possibilities of such an incident. Dr. Rita Gedam was seen giving evasive answers on the question of not informing the family members even after 3 days in case of broken hand of the child.

    Sumitra Korram, wife of Karan Korram, a resident of Korai village under Badedongar police station of development block Farsgaon under Kondagaon district, was delivered by cesarean operation at the district hospital in Kondagaon on June 20. During this delivery, the hand of Sumitra and Karan’s daughter is broken due to the negligence of the doctors. In this regard, Karan and Sumitra informed that Sumitra had labor pain on Monday, after which she was taken to the Community Health Center in Farsgaon. Seeing the seriousness, Sumitra was referred to the district hospital in Kondagaon. Sumitra’s delivery was done after cesarean operation in the district hospital.

    The parents of the newborn allege that due to the negligence of the doctors during the delivery, the hand of their newborn girl was broken, but the hospital kept this fact hidden from them. The girl was immediately admitted to the infant ICU ward. For three days, the child was not even allowed to see the mother’s milk. Relatives have alleged that when Sumitra was delivered, she was unconscious due to the operation. Due to fainting, Sumitra could not even see the face of her new born baby girl. Without telling anything to the relatives, the newborn girl was admitted to the infant ICU ward operated under the infant and maternity hospital of the district hospital. Even the newborn girl up to 3 days was kept away from the family members and was not even allowed to feed her mother’s milk.

    Kondagaon. A case of friendship, love and rape has come to the fore in the district. A young man befriended a young woman from the same area. Trapped him in the trap of his love. Then took a screenshot of her in nude position during video calling. After which blackmailed him. Beaten and then raped continuously for the last 4 months. Now the girl has registered a case against the youth in the police station. Police has arrested the accused and sent him to jail. The case pertains to Farasgaon police station area of the district.

    According to the information, a youth Dinesh Netam (31), a resident of Khajravand Khalepara of Vishrampuri police station area, befriended a girl from Farsgaon area. There used to be talks between the two through mobile. Then the young man trapped the girl in the trap of his love. Proposed and the girl agreed. After which both started talking in the video call. Then one day the young man took a screenshot of the girl in nude position during video calling. After which he continued to blackmail and torture her to have a physical relationship.

    He also beat her repeatedly. Then he kept on raping her continuously for the last several months. Along with this, he had also threatened to make the pictures viral on telling anyone in this regard. However, the girl now reached the Farsgaon police station on June 12 and lodged a complaint about the matter. After which the police formed a team and sent the accused youth to his house. From where he was caught and brought. Police officers said that the accused youth has been presented in the court and sent to jail.
