    Korba. An incident which shames humanity has come to the fore. An innocent girl of seven years was brutalised. Acting on the complaint of the girl’s family members, the police have arrested both the accused of incest. After interrogating both the accused, the police is engaged in further action. The incident is of the Civil Line Police Station area of Korba district. The girl’s family lives here in a rented house. According to information, on April 20, two youths living in the locality together made a 7-year-old girl a victim of their lust.

    The girl’s mother told that both the accused youths carried out the incident of incest by taking the girl inside a godown on the pretext of chocolates. When the girl reached home crying, when asked the reason from the relatives, she told about the incident that happened to her. As soon as the relatives came to know about the incident with the innocent girl, they lodged a complaint with the police. Police has registered a case against the accused and started investigation. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the in-charge of the Civil Line Police Station immediately raided and arrested both the accused Shivkumar and Harinath.

The young man did this because he suspected that his wife was having an illegal relationship with someone else. Because of this, there had been many disputes between the two. And when there was a dispute again, then the accused attacked the wife and left her bleeding. The case is of Katghora police station area. According to the information, Sahash Ram, who lives in village Laldih, does daily wages. He married Budhni Bai 10 years back. Both have 2 children from the marriage.

After this Budhni was sent to the hospital. where he is being treated. The police was also informed about the incident. After which the police team reached the spot.
