After this, Shankar sent his son to the shop on the pretext of bringing some goods and hanged himself from the ceiling fan.

    On receiving the information, the police reached here, took the dead body down from the gallows and sent it for postmortem. Police said that in the initial investigation, the matter of the person being a habitual drunkard and fighting with his wife is coming to the fore. Also, it has been learned that he was troubled by his wife’s repeated visits to her maternal home. Police has registered a case under 174 CrPC in this matter.
