Kotdwar 911/2019, related to Section-138 NI ACT, while arresting the accused Iliyas s/o late Abdul Karim, resident of Lakdi Padav, Kotdwar district, Pauri Garhwal, necessary legal action was taken as per the rules.

    Shri Guru Ram Rai Paramedical College, a unit of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, was inaugurated in Padampur on Monday. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan formally inaugurated the Paramedical College as the chief guest. Admissions on graduate level courses BMRIT, BMLT, BPT, B.Sc Optometry and B.Sc Microbiology will start from this session in SGRR Paramedical College, Padampur.

Manmargain, Officer on Special Duty, Darbar Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, Dehradun and special guest Dr. Praveen Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Pauri and Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri, Registrar, Guru Ram Rai University jointly.

Principal of SGRR School of Paramedical Sciences, Dehradun, Dr. Kirti Singh also expressed her views in the programme.

    Cultural performances were a hit

    The colorful presentations of SGRR students in the inaugural program was a hit. The music of the song enthralled the audience till late evening. Student Vanshika and the group started the program with a welcome song. Sejal, a student of SGRR Public School, won everyone’s heart with her mesmerizing performance on the song Hey Madhu Garhwali. Student Shreejal and the group spread the culture of different regions of Uttarakhand on the stage through mashup songs, and the group enthralled the youth beats with an attractive performance on Haryanvi song. On the other hand, Neha, Gaurav and group stunned the audience with their disciplined presentations of Yogasanas.

    Under the Operation Mukti Abhiyan started on the initiative of Uttarakhand Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, 02 minors were seen begging in Kotdwar market by U.N. Suman Lata, M.Kani Vidya. On which the parents of the children were contacted and counseling was done by the police team. On which the parents of the children agreed to send the children to school.
    In this sequence, the admission of both the children was done by the police team in R.P.V. Shashtnagar Kotdwar. The children and their parents appeared happy during the admission to the school and enthusiasm was visible on the faces of the children regarding their studies. This campaign of Uttarakhand Police was praised and thanked by family members and school staff.

    Senior Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey has directed all police station in-charges and fire officers to take immediate action on the spot along with the personnel in case of arson or any accident in any area of the district. In order to which today, on 04.04.2023 at 00:50 pm, Fire Station Pauri was informed by the District Control Room Pauri that a scooty has caught fire near Bajaj’s agency on Kotdwar Road, personnel of Fire Service Pauri and As soon as Kotwali Pauri police received the immediate information, the fire on scooty number-UK 12G 0888 was extinguished with understanding by spreading the hose reel from the motor fire engine. There was no loss of life in the fire.
