An encroacher had encroached half an acre of land at Newai Bhata and made an illegal cot and was doing milk business there. When the Municipal Services Department of BSP came to know about this, it took action there and freed the land from encroachment by breaking the illegal encroachment.

    Bhilai Steel Plant’s Municipal Services Department official KK Yadav said that a person had occupied half an acre BSP land of Newai Bhata for many years. He had prepared a cot there by fencing with bamboo and wire and was doing the business of milk by rearing cows and buffaloes. BSP gave notice to him several times to vacate the land, but he was not vacating the illegal occupation. He had constructed a cot and a temporary shed on that land.

    He was doing milk business by building a room surrounded by chain link fencing with a cement pole. In this episode, on Monday, the BSP team along with the Newai police force reached there and took action to break the encroachment. The BSP team broke a shed of about 50X50 area made of bamboo sticks there. Demolished the construction of a pucca room built on 12X12 feet. Broke the fencing and got the land encroached free. BSP officials have warned the illegal occupant that legal action will be taken against him if he again occupies BSP’s land in future.

Sanghvi has been very close to former Chief Secretary SR Mohanty. According to sources, the team raided the houses of both of them early in the morning and all the documents are being scrutinised. It is being told that this raid is taking place due to 6 FIRs conducted by the district administration in February 2021 in the land mafia campaign. In this matter, the government and the district administration had also written letters to the ED for investigation and the ED had called the files of these cases to itself. A case has been registered against both of them under the sections of cheating, which is important for starting the ED investigation. At the same time, due to the transaction with Sanghvi, ED officials reached the office of Ruchi Group head and builder Manish Shahra and asked him for the account of the transaction and went away with the information. There is a possibility of Sanghvi’s arrest in this matter, at present the inquiry is going on.
    Dozens of officers present on the spot
    This is the action of Indore ED, in which cooperation of Bhopal team has also been taken. Officers from Bhopal are also involved in this. It is being told that the Assistant Director and other officers themselves are present on the spot. Along with this, the police force has also been taken. Especially the documents related to the land are being scrutinized and it is being investigated.
    Sanghvi out on bail, Madda in jail
    Under the land mafia campaign, separate FIRs were lodged against Prateek Sanghvi, Deepak Madda along with Surendra Sanghvi. The Sanghvi family and Madda and their family members continue to be directors in several companies and have mutual business relations. He had bought the land of the society at a pittance. Sanghvi remained absconding in this case for several days and then got bail from the High Court. On the other hand, 8 FIRs have been lodged against Deepak Madda and Rasuka has also been imposed once. Right now he is in jail in the Kalpataru land scam.
    ED is looking for the link of transactions worth crores
    In this case, ED is tracing the link of crores of rupees earned from the land scam, from where it took the money and to whom it was given. Documents are being searched for this link only and all the accounts will be checked.
