  • 900 meter road not built for 6 years

900 meter road not built for 6 years

Kashipur | A road of 900 meters in the city whose construction was proposed six years ago by the then state cabinet minister Prakash Pant (now deceased) has not been completed till date. Even in the present central government, Union Minister of State for Defense and Nainital Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt had written a letter to the District Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar regarding this road and asked him to get it constructed. Mr. Bhatt wrote this letter in February 2023. Now it is the rainy season but the condition of the road and its plight is still the same.
This road passing in front of Shivalik Holi Academy in Neenjhra area is a sample of the development of the present government and the functioning of the concerned government department. This road is becoming a danger for the school children in the rainy season. Seeing the rain water filled in the potholes and the drain passing by the side, you can guess that the administration is only there to boast of its efficiency.
The surprising thing is why this road could not be built despite the proposal coming in 2017-18? This is a big question. Why are the lives of children and common citizens being played with. If any accident happens, the government, administration and leaders will reach the spot, complete the formalities like investigation, compensation and fulfill their duty and start competing to loot accolades.
