    Lucknow. In Saadatganj police station, a girl has filed a case of rape by giving a written complaint against her lover. The girl alleges that the lover used to sexually exploit her on the pretext of marriage. On becoming pregnant, the accused forced her to have an abortion. The lover refused to marry on pressure of Nikah.

    Saadatganj in-charge Inspector Anjani Mishra told that the girl is divorced. He befriended Kasif. The girl alleges that Kasif tricked her into marriage. After which Kasif started living with her in a rented house in Saadatganj. The accused also started sexually abusing her. When she became pregnant, the accused forcibly prescribed medicine and got her aborted. After which the accused left her and went to his house.

    It is alleged that while searching for Kasif, she reached the victim’s house and started pressuring her for marriage. On this, the accused’s brothers Sarik and Faiz chased him away while abusing him. On the night of May 25 last, the victim was present in the house. Meanwhile, Kasif along with his brothers reached him and started fighting. Hurt by the threats and assault of the accused, the victim has lodged a report at the Saadatganj police station.
